Well it is the second tier European competition, it's after the Champions League but better than the Europa Conference.
It's a fact.
Dunno why we bothered winning it tbh

250, 000 absolute mugs celebrating in North London eh?

I think the powers that be made their minds up to get rid, weeks possibly months before The EL final. What winning it has done is by him a "respectful delay" before it is announced.
Point! THFC.... We have deliberated long and hard and come to the difficult decision (not) to start a new chapter for the 25/26 EPL campaign, (highlighting the league bit), without Ange! We thank him for bringing the long awaited glory of silverware to our great club and wish him well for the future. Or something along those lines?
TBH, I would have expected transfer businesses are actually really done more discreet then we would have imagined. Clubs, players and agents know far far more than we fans do. The rumours are just sensationalising the lull period without much actions during end of/pre season and mid season break.I don't expect an official tweet (or xhit) confirming he's staying, but if he's not getting sacked then journos and agents need to be briefed. The current situation is very damaging for transfer business.

I'd still put it above the Bundesliga that Kane won, and above any domestic Cup - Super league depends on if we win it, if we do then surely its got to be above the CL , if we lose it then its just a friendly.Well it is the second tier European competition, it's after the Champions League but better than the Europa Conference.

The kind of people wooed by Ange are the kind of people that would be wooed by a turd in a sparkly costumeI think if it is him (if Ange goes) he has the charisma to manage the fanbase. Those that have fallen under Ange’s spell will be as easily wooed by him in time.
I think he’s too smart to come to us and especially mid season if Ange stays.
I didn't call anyone a mug or state that we ought not bother winning it, it's just a simple fact that it's the number two European competition. We won it, I'm glad, well done to all, but it's still what it is.Dunno why we bothered winning it tbh

You forgot millions celebrating at wee hours across half of the globe and another millions at the other side dancing into the evening. Stupid us in doing that, wasting our time.Dunno why we bothered winning it tbh

Yes yes, dream scenario for baldy, I know

If we were being linked with Glasner I would be feeling a lot more optimistic, still after the start Palace had this season would we have even stuck with him that long? The Pochettino effect that a lot of fans hope for a repeat of and probably the board too is a pretty rare occurrence. the stars just aligned that time. Poch is a unicorn , eddie howe another

we lost both of thoseI think the CL final where we lost to Liverpool was a lot worse, even the League cup final we lost to City under Mason was worse.
After 25 years I don't think we need any further proof of that, love.If this 17th-place loser is allowed to stay in post, it would confirm that Levy no longer has any real ambition for my club.
Inpostacogloser
Again for what its worth I wouldn't call myself a Ange fan boy, I think the losses in the league are inexcusable , he should have been gone months ago, but regardless I'm not going to write off our European cup win as a given as we "were favourites" fucking hell, talk about shifting the narrative!
Nothing new in here really, sort of confirms what we suspect. The journo James Olly says the senior figures he's spoken too cant look past 22 defeats. Basically thinks we're trying to get a replacement signed and sealed first but until thats done he's here, so i guess if we mess up he may end up staying by default.

Why are you so wilfully oblivious? Man City will be sacking Pep any day now in order to make room for him!You know what's telling?
He's 2 years into a year deal. According to some, he walked on water this season by winning the Europa League.
And yet absolutely nobody is talking about a contract extension to stop anyone stealing him away from us.
For comparison, Poch signed a new 5 year deal 2 years after joining us.
In 2018, he signed another new 5 year contract.
But no new contract for Ange, nor is anyone trying to steal him away from us.
