Journo's are being briefed now as per Nobody3 post above.

But yeah taken far too long
Unless it's official I tend not to take hearsay.

I'm not knocking or diminishing people's use of links but it's not enough...

I know this is damaging our window because even with my godkids league - they're under 16 & when their coach leaves & the club doesn't put out a statement the kids either want to leave or the other kids don't want to join...

Under 16's Sunday League has more drama, politics & backstabbing than the prem ;)

One of the coaches was banging a wife & omg that was a fun Summer...

Bacon.

Now I'm not against Denmark, but you've created a world of problems here, how could anyone but the Danes invent Danish bacon?

I didn't argue with Lego, The Little Mermaid, the concept of the modern day theme park or Lurpak, but this is going too far...

I don't want to see us waste a whole summer either, but since Levy is putting out the "we have to sell to buy" messages right on schedule maybe it doesn't matter either way.

I don't believe the "sell before we buy" quotes if the rumours are true and Ange is going to be honest, you can level many accusations at Levy but I don't think he has ever hired a new manager with the brief that they will have to sell before we make purchases in the transfer window. It is a fact in a sense that we have to sell before we buy due to limited squad spaces for Europe, but I don't think the club seriously expects to recoup as much as it spends this window and there is sufficient evidence to suggest that we will probably spend around £80-100m net as we have done the last few summers.

Whether that money is wisely spent or not is another matter entirely.

The fact that we can spend £270mil without falling foul of PSR , I call bullshit on that one , the reason Levy is saying we need to sell before we can buy is he doesn't want other clubs thinking he'll pay top dollar for players we want

Imagine it being your mum and finding out this was the reason you made it off the bench to starting every week...

:adewtf:

It's got Danish written all over it.

I think they like that. It's way past the pathetic stage.

Only us I swear.
Is there a reason as to why Levy & board haven't made a decision yet? Could that be financial or really due to their indecision making?

It's been an absolute clownshow for nearly two straight years now, and as others have said, incredibly fortunate we met a very poor United side.

People easily forget our PL performances, and to normalise losing the way Ange has created into the players is abysmal and deserves sacking in itself.

We are not a mid table club, and even the likes of West Ham, Brighton and Everton find these league positions unacceptable.

If Ange remains at the club, I suppose this becomes the acceptable norm.

Ange should go out on a high, and that's after winning the EL. That's the best he will ever get. Dumb fortune.

This club has been a clownshow for a lot longer than that but I understand where you are coming from in relation to Ange...

All we need is a statement...

ANYTHING...

This is damaging our transfer window...

No one says they haven't. Fans have the propensity to think that nothing happens unless it is public.

The club have increasingly squeezed out any leaks over the years, and people - especially in the summer window - will have to get used to the idea that hearing nothing doesn't mean people aren't doing anything.

In reality, we just haven't communicated anything publicly. Ange shouldn't be the last to find out either way, and has at least earned a holiday without work matters.

Good post mate.

No idea what's going on,but the lack of noise is quite something.

The one thing that I do think might hold merit is that change might be afoot at the key decision making levels, hence the reported boardroom moves, but that's speculativeo on my part, over informed.

Damaging our credibility if we have any left under tbe stewardship of Levy

I’m doing well as a manager why don’t I sign for the managers graveyard ( Ange fluke or not fluke depending on point of view excluded ) where the owner has no sense of decency.

Only my opinion but his behaviour disgusts me , every day I find Levy more repugnant.
