You really need to work on your reading comprehension. Seriously.
If you think coming 8th the season after 250,000 watched the EL parade, then it's you who needs to wake up!
So would 8th and no trophy be acceptable?

No you haven’t posted ‘X position and a trophy’ at all have you?! 😂

Nothing wrong with my reading comprehension. Not sure can be said the same of your memory though! 😂

No-one knows that for sure re the EL, and finishing 10th and winning nothing wouldn't have had me and thousands of Spurs supporters singing in the streets of North London. As I said, only time will tell if this is a good move or not.

Of course it wouldn't but it was a one-off and I don't think there was enough to suggest ot had any endurance.

I didn't think you would allow sentiment to cloud the facts.

Neither would be my choice if I was seriously trying to win the PL and CL

If the scum decided Arteta couldn’t win them the PL would they be choosing between Frank or Rodger’s?

I'm not sure choosing a team that massively progressed when they hired a guy who had never managed a team before, aiming to replicate the success of an underwhelming appointment from Japan that spanned three decades, is quite the right angle for attack here

Any team in the Premier league from 7th down to 16th. Would swap our overall season including cups for theirs barring Crystal Palace. Bournemouth, Brighton would swap finishing 8th and 9th for 17th if it meant winning a trophy and going to the Champions League. At the start of the season (and i know its not possible but this is hypothetical) Forest would be happier finishing 17th and winning a trophy that took them to the Champions League. This is a senseless decision Spurs fans don't know when to be happy.

I have my doubts where Frank is concerned, but until you see where he can go with what we have and will add, you and I have no idea. All you're doing is trying to pass off opinion as fact.

No it's not. We have no idea how the players will react, how much they'll improve within his structure, how far his coaching will improve them or not.

Nothing is obvious.

There's no "if" here, you are guessing, particularly as Frank hasn't been appointed!
The same utterings were out there when Eddie Howe was noises about as a potential replacement for Conte. Now most would welcome him with open arms.
A few weeks ago Iraola was the second coming, now he's Marmite.

How about waiting to see what actually happens, rather than making your mind up before we've even got the new manager through the door?

Ok

What? Have you been drinking?

You think 8th would be acceptable, yet you think you're scoring points here?

Seriously, work on your reading comprehension... or sleep it off.
I haven’t qualified what I’d find acceptable, but I find it bizarre to claim you haven’t said something I’ve actually quoted you saying?!

Looks like you’ve been the one drinking not me! 😂

Arteta hasn’t won jack shit. It’s the perfect angle.

I asked: if the scum decided Arteta wasn’t the man to win them the PL and CL, would they be hiring Frank or Rodgers?

Because we did just win something, so our next step should be to try and win the next level up from what we just won

Hold on sweet cheeks, I've not said anything about keeping Ange on.

You said - he is not the man to elevate us from here - so I asked if Frank getting us to 8th was elevating the club, which you said yes it was.

That's bollox. Irrespective of who is our manager next season, 8th and no trophy is taking us back 5 years, that's not even close to elevation!!
It's all relative right. Maybe elevate wasn't the right word in this context but finishing 8th from 17th is literally elevation. A cup does trump no cup though.

Again, what trophy is anyone expecting to win this year? By default you're going to be disappointed this year because we aren't winning anything and this season will 'set us back 5 years.' We have about an 8th placed squad imo. We should've won the Europa, we were favourites from the start. We haven't really come close anywhere else. So this new thing where people are thinking we are some sort of cup team is a bit crazy to me. We have been a bad, bad side for a long time now.

As I said before, I'm not really a frank advocate. There's nobody out there that's really inspiring to me right now.
