I agree with the first 2 sentences of your post. As I'm sure would any sensible Spurs supporter.
I'm not so hot on your conclusion though. If he had the right attitude for changing the club culture he would not have limply claimed he was satisfied with a transfer window that was so clearly underwhelming and little more than a speculative, cowardly cost cutting exercise.
Problem is though mate, it does for all the world to see look like a cost cutting exercise.
But if ange isn't or wasn't happy with it, why did he go along with it, he should have dug his heels in and see how it played out.
He has been given one first team player, tbe rest all kids, that was a shit window.
The 8th richest club in the world has once again embarrassed itself.

I can’t see how things will improve given the poor state of our squad and suitability to his tactics but there’s no one else out there who will improve. Might aswell give him until the summer when managers like Iraola, Thomas Frank etc are more likely to be willing to take over. The options out there are awful right now and the thought of us going for Southgate fills me with dread.

1ppg has to improve within the next 3 games.
I would expect more like 1.6 - 1.7ppg

It won't. And it'll cost him his job and us another season, probably 2.

Rather give him the season unless we are in danger of relegation.

1 there is fuck all alternatives, god forbid Southgate ends up here which would sadly not shock me if it happened. It will probably end up Ryan Mason this time long term.

2 constantly sacking managers makes us even less desirable

3 we are actually dominating possession against everyone and also not conceding that many chances, most of our goals this season have been Romero fucks up. I don’t think defence is as problematic as last season.

4 our wingers are average at best which is critical for this system. I don’t know if Odobert, Moore and that new Korean kids in Jan can do much but this is going to be a huge issue for the next manager as well.

If Klopp suddenly decides he wants back then yes of course move but we are not in a great position now. The obvious saviour is Pochettino but he is now USA manager.
As I understand (and I may be wrong) we have something like four clean sheets in our last thirty seven games.

We won't be winning anything with that kind of defensive record.

Secondly Ange has built his system around wing play, fast decisive attacking down the wings. The data from yesterdays game was shocking.

Son and Joh son are not working, and on current form this season never will. And in the case of Johnson I am still staggered how Lange thought of spending that kind of money for a winger that cannot beat a man.

Expecting Klopp to come to us is pure fantasy, that is never going to happen.

I've had enough of him

But it's ultimately all pointless , next manager will fail , as will the one after that and the one after that

25 years and one constant, ENIC

Sacking Ange just gives them something to hide behind yet again, don’t fall for it

Ange is the right man to take us forward in my opinion, he has the right attitude for it and wants to change the club culture

I think Poch, Jose and Conte wanted to change the "club culture".

We created nothing, have now conceded in something like thirty four of our last thirty seven games (most with the players that have now left admittedly).

Ange admitted two things:

Romero switched off

Solanke wasn't fit.

Ange had an opportunity to get rid of Richy (who will never be fully fit for any length of time), and he has seen Romero cost us three goals and could have dropped him. But he has dome neither of the above.

Odobert, or Werner could have started on the left, Son in the middle, and Kulu on the right.

Why spend transfer money on Bergvall, and Gray if they can't start?

Levy has sanctioned Lange's transfer targets, and this with Ange's approval.

We are toothless up front and a defensive quality of a sieve.

Is Sarr now a bench warmer?

I saw nothing different from this team without Pierre, Skipp, Dier, Emerson and the like as I did with them. That alone shows just how much progress we have made.

Take nothing away from Woolwich who are individually, and as a team streets ahead of us but the biggest difference on Sunday was that Arteta had a plan, formation, and tactics that worked against us, will be copied and will likely work again by other teams.

Ange just doesn't have the tactical nous in any area of the pitch to improve what we are seeing. I don't want to see him fired now but I don't believe we will make Europe this season and certainly not top four given yesterdays woeful performance.

Here's Ange's narrow eyed view yet again.

There have been changes. We conceded 8 goals in the same fixtures against Everton, Woolwich and Newcastle and this season it's just the three. Brainfarts from Romero notwithstanding and exposure to rapid counters noted, we've not leaked as many goals so far. Just struggling to score them.

I’m struggling to see him survive the next 4 league games. Brentford is as must win as it gets, but I could easily see us draw that 0-0 or 1-1. He then has United and Brighton away - difficult to see a win from those - although United are definitely still shit. If he is sat there with 7 points from 7 games - or less !!! During the international break, then Baldylocks is going to be especially twitchy.

Would only take a bad result to the hammers and the ground will be as toxic as it gets.

In the meantime if he dicks around in the cups and we go out and look unlikely to finish top 8 in Europa then he should just go anyway - winning a cup is the only hope we have this season and if he can’t even be bothered to go strong in that then what’s the point of any of it

We’ve actually conceded less and scored more but it matters not one fuck as the only stat that is important remained exactly the same - 1 win and 2 losses.

For my money we should have 4 more points - we should have beat Leicester comfortably, we should have draw (at least) at Newcastle and we should have just taken the 0-0 yesterday. 8 points followed by a win at home to Brentford and progressing past Coventry and there would have been virtually no pressure - even if United and Brighton turned us over. Now though he is living game by game - first cup final being Wednesday night

We will continue to lose every game we're expected to lose with him it seems. No blagging a win against better opposition anymore, barely worth watching those games.

We will win most games against bottom half sides which is fine but ultimately par for course.

With our upcoming fixtures until 4th January, it's hard to see beyond the following results;
Win Brentford (H)
Lose United (A)
Draw Brighton (A)
Lose West Ham (H)
Win Palace (A)
Draw Villa (H)
Win Ipswich (H)
Lose City (A)
Win Fulham (H)
Win Bournemouth (A)
Lose Chelsea (H)
Win Southampton (A)
Lose Liverpool (H)
Win Forest (A)
Draw Wolves (H)
Lose Newcastle (H)

This would give us 28 points from 20 games. On track for 56 points, mid table.
If this were the case I would sack him by the Newcastle game at the latest, after a home West Ham defeat at the earliest.

Klopp spent what we have done this season on two players, that is the difference. We spent on 'potential' Klopp spent on here and now quality player something we haven't done possibly since the days of Ardiles, Gazza, Lineker, or Klinsmann possibly Toby.

Levy lucked out with Kane.

We heard that Barca were after Bergvall, yet he can't get a start against Everton or Leicester?

The media drooling over Ange, his funny press conferences and gung-ho never seen before tactics are all click bait gold for the reporters, but unfortunately what most fans are seeing is possession based, going nowhere, no end product football.

It's really no different than under Jose, or Conte, the football is just being played further up the pitch.
