Conte will not go into a job without getting reassurances and detailing his requirements, because they are specific.

You can bank on that.

Because his style is very specific, it needs certain components to for it to run properly.

And he wants to WIN - and knows how to - and not just earn a sweet wage.

Once he is in, if they try and 'short change' him from what was initially put on the table re. resources (which I suspect is what happened here), he'll, predictably, kick up an almighty stinker.

Napoli knew this full well.

If he didn't agree to contingencies, he's got every right to kick off.

I just don't see him threatening to bolt like this unless something has gone badly wrong from what he was told would happen.

The italian clubs, especially, know what he's like.

So, best not to bullshit him.

I do have a lot of respect for him as a family man and person but I’ve lost all professional respect for him after his time with us.

This is so pathetic.

His strategy is to belittle Napoli and act like they've always been midtable and pretend that they didn't just win the Scudetto two seasons ago. Which is ironic because its the exact same situation Chelsea were in when he took over.

So when he gets them to like 5th this season, he can make it out as if he performed a miracle to get them there. He's probably hoping that can land him a job at a bigger club.
 
He's right, but he just shouldn't have gone there. He knew the situation with their chairman just like he knew the situation with ours.

Bizarre he keeps choosing these jobs. Well not that bizarre as a lot of teams won't take him, but when you do you sort of have to deal with it but he doesn't.

One of the things that stood out for me in his rant was when he shouted "I'm not used to this position!", as if any of us fucking care.

Why were you even here then in that case? We were like 5th then, which is the average position you'd expect us to finish.

He's such a baby. All managers complain but I'm not sure I've ever heard them sound that entitled.

Maybe the management thing isn't for him anymore seeing as he expects clubs just to snap up players in a second and pay whatever it takes, hell he'd even get frustrated at Real Madrid and PSG seeing as they both now employ a smart recruitment strategy and don't panic anymore in the market, I think the guy just need to leave it now and take up something else.
