Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Tough. It's not as if they're any good anyway! It's about time these overpaid pricks got told. Anyone who doesnt like it, or is too much of a little bitch to deal with criticism, can fuck off. And I hope Conte kicks the fucking shit out of them on their way out. I'd certainly like to spark a couple out - especially that fucking ponce, Dele Fuckwit Alli. I would like to pull his braids out and beat him half to death with them, the little fucking turd.
Enough of the veiled comments. Tell us how you really feel

That would be the dream scenario.

It will not be that all 23 will stop playing for him. But if 10 or 12 do, then it is perfect.
Those players lose any access to first team rooms at the spot and will be on fire sale from 01.01.2022.

We should have got rid of such utter wankers much-much earlier.

Until that time, we have U-23, U-21, U-18 and if needed U-16 teams where to take players from.

Im so fucking done with this tight-rope walking that you seem to prefer. We have done this for at least 3 years, and look where it has gotten us?!?

I really prefer things to explode, rather than to continue this current unevitable downward spiral. Just to keep some overrated shitheads "playing for him at all".
Tightrope?
I prefer the pragmatic managing people as if they might react negatively like humans do approach. Not the react emotionally because it feels better approach.

Part of me is glad a performance like this has happened. Imagine we won all our games until Jan? That would give that tight bastard Levy an excuse not too spend any money. Us getting embarrassed like that to a bunch of goat herders and Conte’s comments tonight, means Levy has got nowhere too hide anymore. Put up or shut up Levy. Sort this rancid squad out once and for all
but it's not tight. Money has been spent, and a lot of money. We've just bought incredibly bad players, not good enough and with a bad attitude.

I don't want to be forced into supporting Levy. Nuno was a crap appointment, wasn't convinced by Jose but can only think Levy still believed in the squad when Jose was taken on. Now after Nuno and Conte he has probably realised and is fuming. Probably at himself for not sorting it sooner, those who chose that players and the players themselves for taking the money and being utter cunts

The risk is the dressing room may turn on him here. He is saying in public that most of them are shit.
I don't think that really matters now. The bulk of the players are shit anyway, we can all see it. Just drop them and play energetic youth until January. Players like Skip and Moura (whilst frustrating), Son, Dier, Hugo, Davies, etc. are professional and are working hard. They will be fucked off by player like Dele by now. Doubt he has many friends left inside the club.

The problem is he isn’t criticising their application where you might expect said ricket to get them to raise their game. rather he is saying these players are limited footballers. I hope it is a clever trick to get them to prove him wrong but I dont think it is because Conte knows what we know, that they really are limited footballers and you cant polish a turd.

I am all behind getting rid of most the squad. But it is November, I would not be saying what he said publicly at this stage.
Yeah that's fair enough, hopefully it's a very public statement to levy to get his hand in his pocket and replace some of this crap. However, as we all know that's very unlikely to happen. I am more concerned about annoying Conte to the point of leaving at this point. I am sort of ambivalent towards the players now and would rather that if they all have hurt feelings enough not to play then send them to the youth squad and give their numbers to players who want to play for us.

lets be honest here. No manager turns up to a club in a great situation, if things were dandy the last guy wouldn't have been sacked. It does Conte no good running away from this, he knew the situation when he signed.

If he bails now it will be sending a message that he's less reliable, can't asses players, isn't a man of his word. Until January the situation is exactly as it was when he signed on the dotted line. When the transfer window slams shut it will be a different story, and at that point he can say he wasn't backed.

He was clearly reassured by Fabio that they would sign the players he wants in Jan, I believe five will come in and 2/3 will be older prove talent. I also feel in January they will discuss the summer window which will hopefully settle the nerves.

From Conte's point of view I am guessing he is actually regreting the move a bit. He got sold on the world class training facilities and stadium and didn't think too much about how shit the players were. Now it is in his face every day. So he thinks well I will fuck the players off and either Levy will back me and I will get new better players in quickly or he won't in which case the whole thing will come tumbling down really quickly with the players showing they are crap not playing for me and then I can leave and blame Levy (not wrongly) for not backing me. Thing is, we know how this ends.

I think Conte is spot on in everything he said yesterday. I hope our fans don't get on his back. This thing is going to take plenty of time, as he said.

We'll know more about how prepared that bald snake cunt is to fix things properly, by the end of the Jan transfer window.

In the meantime, we have to stay patient (with Conte). There's players last night that I hope never pull on the spurs shirt again.
exactly, this wasn't aimed at Levy but at the media and fans to say "look, I know it's shit, I knew it was shit and am willing to work, be patient as it's not going to be a quick fix"

Why do some fabricate additional narrative, all it does is divide the fans and helps not one of us.

The job on is massive will a few years I think every season fans come on and predict all the bums getting sold off it never happens these guys are on good contracts and will not budge because the only clubs who might be interested are even worse than us and won't pony up the money .Levy can't just buy out a load of contracts it's not practical so we are stuck with guys who will never get us near the top a long road ahead again I am afraid .
he can sell at a reduce rate and part cover wages. Whilst a bitter pill, it will cost more in the long-run keeping them around. Also part-ex has worked before.

If you tell players they will never play for you again then what choice do they have? We unloaded Sissoko, Lamella (although I would have preferred he stayed), Aurier. It can be done but we might have to take a loss in order to move forward.

I like this sentiment but honestly our youth are nowhere near good enough. If we played more than one or maybe two of our youth in the prem in a game we'd get massacred.

I thought it was the manager's responsibility to fix bad players. Fans blamed Mourinho and Nuno for the poor results and wanted them sacked from day one. But with Conte, it's the players so lets give him time. As Conte said hes no magician and like the previous managers will be found out soon tactically. I dont buy this Conte hype! Theres a reason Man Utd didn't go for him and are due to appoint Rangnick.

Fascinating two months upcoming and if you’ve been paying attention you can see one side (Conte/Paratici) beginning to line up their brigades and trebuchets in preparation for battle.

Make no mistake, Conte and Paratici have absolutely zero to gain from ENIC penny pinching, they can both walk at any moment and get a top job anywhere in Europe. Levy has nothing over them. They’ll align against Levy/Cullen/Caplehorn and the ENIC insiders if it’s required.

Conte’s comments tonight are a shot across ENIC’s bow, there are acceptable excuses for inaction in January. He doesn’t care how “hard” it is.

This is also clear from another obvious chess move this week from Conte/Paratici, their very well documented in person training ground meeting with DiMarzio. You don’t think they gave him an off the record briefing on expectations and transfer plans? Then they publicly posed for pictures with him to say this guy knows us and can be trusted. A message to the fans.

Watch very closely going forward what DiMarzio, Romano, and other Italian journalists report compared to what’s coming out of the standard English media. Any differentiation will be the first signs of behind the scenes turmoil.

Conte and Paratici know they have Levy over the barrel. It’s a miracle we pulled Conte after Pochettino, Mourinho, Mason, two month coaching search, Nuno debacle. They hold all the cards against Levy, they are the only things keeping the fans from Levy’s throat. Levy’s only card is his own shamelessness, which admittedly is quite significant.

Every Spurs fan knows the score, if you can’t make it work with Conte, then you’re even more unfit than most of us think. Conte won’t hesitate to use the media to his advantage like he did tonight, in a very mild fashion by his standards, and 95% of fans will take his side.

The battlelines are drawn and Levy has minuscule margin of error and nowhere to hide. If nothing moves in January, it’s just a matter of time until Conte and Paratici are out and the fans will be in full revolt.
An eloquent post.

You should be a war historian.

I’d say it isn’t Levy’s job to believe in the squad , it’s his job to listen to people who have more understanding of football in their toe nail than he does & aid them as best he can . It was clear Poch wanted to add to the squad , baldy ignored it.

I think he fucked up a bit last night trusting these clowns who have produced this embarrassing shitshow of a performance on more than one occasion over the last 3 seasons. I always think go strong first get the job done then give people a game and antonio was wrong for that, but, any team that is one of the richest in the world and considered for a european super league should be able to muster an entire squad capable of comfortably progressing through a 3rd tier European competition. Complete mismanagement from the top to allow this to fester and not taking the correct decisions beforehand to stop this shit from continuing to happen. Tottenham hotspur is a football club first and foremost and if conte can't turn us into that then nobody can. I honestly think he's the right man but 18 months will be too soon and we will need him for atleast 3 years to truly sort this mess out.
