What a bad take tbh

This was miles better than the Nuno match.

I agree Conte got the 3-4-3 vs. 3-5-2 decision wrong, but we were well in the match, even after Hugo's howler.
Same 3-1 result. They could have put 5 past us today easily. Look at the numbers, it wasn’t close. Even up until the Emerdon red, they had us beat in every facet of the game.

xG was 2.3 them and 1.4 us, including after the red card.

You were talking about the performance as well, at halftime in the Nuno match we were completely out of the game. Today at halftime we were well in it.

It's a braindead take honestly.

Well then I massively disagree with your point.

What games have we played "shit" in?
Imo we've been really poor against Chelsea, West Ham, Marseille and the 2 defeats. Wolves was poor for 60 mins, Leicester for 45. Forest wasnt brilliant but we deserved the win and Southampton and Fulham were good. Results have been largely decent although i dont think we've done anything you wouldnt have expected us to do but i dont see how anyone can think its been anything but a fairly average to dull watch so far.

A long range shot that misses the target 9 times out of 10. It not only hits the target but goes in.

A huge goalkeeping error. Not long after restarting the second half. Immediately putting us on the back foot.

A silly challenge and easily influenced referee leading to a soft red.

Yes the tactics can be questioned today. But we were well in the game up until the red card. Allowing the opposition to dictate the ball will cost you goals sometimes. Long range shots sometimes beat the keeper. Keepers can fumble the ball when teams are allowed shots on target.

Its easy in hindsight to say we should have had 3 in midfield. But we still would have been set up to soak up pressure the same way. We have Harry Kane leading the line we arent going to be a high intensity pressing team. Hes not got the legs anymore. Need to work with what we have for now. Its been effective result wise for the majority of Contes time.

Ive seen plenty of progress under Conte. We have some promising players for the future aswell. We are in a much better place than we were under Nuno.

Nah it's not even close. That game under Nuno we genuinely did not have a sniff all game.
nuno the bafoon played ndombele, Dele and Hojbjerg in a midfield 3 and told none of them to sit. He actually instructed us to play it long from the back and for the midfield 3 to all run up and press high.

He should never be a football coach/manager for that alone.

Yes our 3 shots on target was phenomenal.

Also, our penalty accounted for 0.7 xG so…. Yeah.

Was the penalty not a valid penalty? Not sure why you would discount that.

Richy's chance in the 1st half was a genuinely good opportunity that forced a nice save.

In the Nuno match we were out of the game after 20 minutes. Today we weren't until the ref gifted them a red card.

If you can't see the difference between the two performances, even if the result was similar, then you should try watching the matches with your eyes open.

xG at halftime was Woolwich (0.5) vs Tottenham (1.3) .. Lloris hands them their second goal and the xG is even at 1.5 or so apiece. Emerson gets sent off and theirs climbs to 2.5, we create nothing else of note.

xG for the Jesus goal should be 0.0 because it never should have been a shot.
