Fair enough, they probably can't afford to spend that much money

How is Conte and Man U still a story the papers want to peddle? It is an irrelevance now.

Are they trying to suggest that if we don't spend that then Conte is being let down by us? (despite the difference in wealth between man u and us being more than obvious)

That would be valid....only if they hadn't already spent £400m under Solskjaer though....

My god this international break is fucking dragging.
I want more Conte and less/no international bollocks.

THFC Facebook page proudly anointed Kane as England's all time highest scorer in competitive matches after Friday.
Competitive. Against Albania. 63rd in the world Albania. And next up is a competitive match against San Marino. 210th in the world San Marino.
Utter fucking waste of aviation fuel. Maybe Cop26 should point a finger at this waste of resources.

Has he asked for the same amount with Spurs?

Daniel Levy

Anyone calling mason a cunt for not succeeding with us as a manager needs to have a word with themselves. It took major balls to even accept the job and he showed the kind of guts that got him through that horrific injury. He will learn a lot of valuable stuff working under Conte and I’m happy for him.

Possibly, what has to be done to keep him.

Felt bad for mason and gave him a job. Definitely a good guy.
Seems clear enough that Levy wanted Mason to be a part of the staff, with that composition obviously being part of the struggle of the summer negotiations.

I think Levy both cynically wants a set of eyes and ears in the dressing room, but also sincerely believes in integration between the academy and the first team as part of his vision for the club.

Conte got his whole team, adding someone who knows the club and the players and the young guys who will be coming through is sensible and not a huge ask.
