This is key. The club needs to develop a philosophy that it sticks with and if it's Conte's philosophy, even better. It doesn't necessarily need to be a specific playing style; these change throughout the years. But it should have at a minimum the following, regardless of who the manager is:What's important, as a club, is we never turn back from where he takes us (if not trophy-wise, then personnel-wise), when he's done here.

The above will ensure that any manager that comes in will find well-drilled, super fit players of good character. The manager can then set up the way the team plays on top of that and the resident coaches should assist in working with the players to tweak them to better fit into the system. But at least the core foundations will be there.
- a resident conditioning coach that will ensure peak fitness
- technical coaches that will work on player weaknesses
- specialist coaches for all positions that will work with players to improve them in their area of the pitch
- outstanding scouting and data analytics to identify prospects and perform thorough due diligence on signings
Im more upset that Levy is paying Conte in the offseason. Worst chairman.I look forward to the ENIC out brigade frothing at the mouth at the fact Levy is paying Conte 562k less for each win. You call that ambition you bald cunt? You got complacent just when we could have taken that final step.
Absolutely love Antonio.
But anyone else find his press conferences incredibly boring? Seems to just auto repeat the line "we want to achieve something important" or " he needs time to understand our idea of football."
Again no pelters please. He can't be bothered with the media and that's fine - love the geezer.
I'd watch him read the 1983 yellow pages. I find him a bit hypnotic. Like yeah it's boring but there's the potential for him to do something mental at any moment..Absolutely love Antonio.

Classic "boring presser=good presser" tactics + lack of sufficient language skills - it's very hard to become proficient at a new language at 50, especially if you're a person that only has one passion and focuses on it completely like Conte.Absolutely love Antonio.
