This thing is he or isn’t he what the fick is that about. He ever wants to commit and club can then plan the next year with him. Otherwise let us know if he doesn’t want to say so that we can start looking at manager. Also the transfer dynamic may need to change. Instead of looking to splunk billions on defenders another manager may want to buy more attacking players like Kanes replacement.

I see. I agree with most of your observations there. I'm what I understand is referred to as a 'legacy' supporter these days. My Spurs journey began in the Autumn of 1977. First game attended was Coventry away 1981. I attended regularly at WHL from 87 - 98 but became a Paxton Road season ticket holder from 99 until 08. I packed up going after Spurs won the League Cup under Ramos. I was disgusted at the treatment of Martin Jol tbh. Never got over it. I had ENIC weighed up by then and decided direct action was the best way forward having been coerced into renewing for several seasons due to the waiting list.
I feel the need to explain this so you understand I have no Utopian expectations of THFC, ENIC, Levy, Conte or indeed anything connected to the N17 experience in general.
Over the years I frequented, The Park, The Milford, The Antwerp, The Connaught Tavern, The Ship, The Coach and Horses, Haringey Irish Centre and The Bell and Hare. Not all of them on the same match day of course but over a 15 year period of serious drinking; I got into all of these places before home games.
I've also been to most of the grounds in the top 2 English divisions on my travels and a fair few others too. Every home game was a 200 mile round trip for me as I live near Coventry.
I've done my bit for Spurs.

This is painful but I think the Woolwich side that contained Viera, Bergkamp, Pires etc played the best football I've seen. I liked the United team with Kanchelskis and Giggs too. Very entertaining football played by both.

I think the Haaland signing has killed off the EPL. Nobody is getting close to them now unless he is seriously injured or leaves. Everyone else is playing for runners up.
I want to see Spurs win the league once in my lifetime. The goalposts have moved so far away from that being possible in the short term that my interest and expectations have dipped to late 90's levels.
Without serious investment Spurs are going one way.

I would probably stop watching the games. Only seeing highlights and the final result. Simeone is 10 times more boring than conte. And Mourinho. Combined.
It’s not a great post. It’s the same shit we have heard from Conte backers every time.
1. Getting us into top four last season was great. But it’s not like it was a miracle. We had a talented squad and were fortunate that Woolwich choked at Newcastle. We played great for the second half of the season but still slipped up a few times.
2. Being fourth right now. Again, lucky Liverpool and Chelsea (both teams that have beat us) are playing worse than us or else we would be 6th. We have been outplayed in more games than not this season. We have not scored in the first half 8 straight games and have gone 2-0 down in 5 straight domestic games. It’s pathetic for the talent we have.
3. Injuries to Richarlison and Kulu hurt. No doubt. But not trying fringe players is all on Conte. He gives them one chance to play and if they make a minor mistake they are gone. Or in Spence’s case, not even a chance. You need to play players consistently to get them in form. Not one game a month.
4. Conte has been crying about transfer windows since day 1 and is still saying “two windows away”
5. Maybe if Conte rotated our players wouldn’t be so tired. Every other team does it but Conte won’t.
6. Getting knocked out is one thing. Being embarrassed by playing our A team and losing to a relegation B team is the problem.

For one, we didn’t lose to Chelsea. And secondly, not every big 6 team is going to play great all the time. Liverpool have been a bit unlucky and should be closer to us. Chelsea, on the other hand, have been terrible by the numbers and should be even further behind. They have an xG of -4. That’s getting outplayed more than not. We are at +7.
We are on a 70.5 point pace which is typically good enough for 4th. I’m not thrilled with it, but it’s not like our rivals have been any worse than normal.

Not every big six team will be great, I agree but nobody expected this collapse from Liverpool and I think most has had Chelsea better then this. Their struggles are making us look better then we currently are.
We have been outplayed by Newcastle, Nottm Forrest (2 times), West Ham, Wolves, and Sporting. I’m not expecting to dominate every match but we should easily win half of those at minimum.
If we are serious about this team winning a trophy in the next year or two, changes are needed from Conte as much as they are from the club/players.
I’m with you all the way apart from the nothing cup. My kids are now in their late teens (properly supporting since they were around six) and have never experienced the thrill of seeing us lift a trophy. Seeing me kiss my coffee mug when we beat Marine FC 5 - 0 doesn’t cut it.
Not sure that’s true. Liverpool have lost twice as many matches this season as they did in the whole of last season (and were lucky against us) and Chelsea have already lost 4 matches in 13 when they only lost 6 all last season so that would indicate that our rivals have been worse than normal.
Watching City play football is like watching a robot programmed to recreate a famous painting, what you see on the canvas can be as beautiful as anything you may imagine, but there isn't any art there...
I don't care how many goals they score, like Chelsea before them, watching City bores me to tears.
