He’s right. The best Spurs can and ever will achieve is 4th. Between 5th to 8th is average for us.
As long as we understand that is our role and position in this league, we don’t need to get too high or too low from what we expect.
Spurs are one of the bigger mid sized clubs. Villa could easily be where we are, West Ham could do it for a season… Newcastle will probably take our spot as the best of the middle pack now though.
 
He’s not wrong in saying we don’t have creativity in the team but he does nothing to try and adjust. It’s the same shit over and over and it never works.

He’s just not this ‘elite coach’ that he’s touted as and he was a completely wrong fit for us from Day 1.

Perisic was free. Bentancur cost £21m (inc add-ons), Kulu will cost £37.5m all in all when the club officially buys him, and that’s before you factor in the fact that Juve were basically giving them away since they didn’t rate them, and I’d imagine they did Paratici a favour on the price. Bissouma was on the last year of his deal which is why the club managed to get him for £25m. Richarlison is the only one that I’d say is a big spend at £60m (inc add ons).

In any year before 2018 or so, I’d agree and say that’s loads of backing, but not these days. Of course that’s not all his signings like you mentioned but those are his ‘biggest’ and that type of spending can be matched (and outdone) by every club in the top 6 plus a few more scattered around the league.

If you think he’s not elite with his resume I’m not really sure what to say to convince you. The problem is this squad.

spurs are not a mid sized club. a mid sized club doesnt build a billion pound stadium off the back of 1 tin pot cup in 20 years. a mid sized club isnt 10th in revenue in the world off the back of no success.

Who's fault is that? It was obvious we needed a creative player in the middle why didn't we go and get Eriksen? and a we have a player who can beat a man on the bench but you only ever bring him on in the 88th min minimum.

Is he right? We're one of the richest clubs in the World. We generated more than £100M from League alone, and spent less than that on a transfer window when we had a "war chest" available. We have owners who are actual parasites. We have more than enough money to spend and improve, and we never do it. Look at how the Scum kept spending and spending for their manager until they got it right, and now they have good full-backs and good cover for them, a decent defence and a decent attack.
 
It's hard to defend Conte when the football is that shit to watch.

Looking at that team against Brentford and Villa today; we are going nowhere.

Two of the most prolific scorers of goals in the Premier League and the other 9 players can't create enough chances for them to score any goals.

Lenglet, a fucking centre back, set up two efforts for Kane last week and he set up the best two chances Spurs created today for Perisic.

It makes Conte and his tactics look impotent.
 
Conte has made me hate football.

The brand of football he promotes is truly awful to watch.

To be honest, I don’t really give a shit if we win or lose anymore. It all means nothing when I would rather get a back alley prostate exam than watch us play.
 
We don't have any creative players except deki and kane but who's fault is that. Plus his formation doesn't allow for a number 10.

He's talking like a man thats been told he won't get any big money signings in and is fed up.

This club is a shambles.
