Exactly this. If they sack Conte within the next week it would be Pochettino’s best chance. If the club stick with Conte until the summer, they probably will be looking at younger project managers contracted to other clubs rather than going back to Poch
Exactly, I heard Ryan was an introvert outside of football, so much so that he even races his own ghosts in Mario Kart rather than playing against real people.
Please stop being condenscending towards me. This is not a.communist country. You would only ask me that if I was your manager. Bottom.line is your post was too long. J started reading it but then switched off. You do know your discriminating against people with short attention spans. Look at other messages and the lengths of them. Think how many people will read your posts. Please do not write long arse messages in future.
Fuck me. If you are offended by stuff like this, you’d better buckle up buttercup. Not really the forum to be throwing your weight around a fortnight after joining.
Why not? Out of a job. Loves the club. There is every reason for him to come now, evaluate the team then rid of the dross in the summer. Bringing Mason in is an absolute fucking disaster and another shocker by levy like the cup final. Absolute joke football club.

He's only been there half a season and as i said came in to a settled side that has been playing well over a number of years - he hasn't been tested yet or built a team there himself. That's not to say he hasn't done very well in those circumstances but it's nowhere near enough of a job so far to base appointing him on.
Why are you posting such long messages. Normally you should keep them to 3 or 4 paragraphs on these threads. You lose the reader when you post too much content and expect the reader to read your waffling. Some times less is more. We are in a culture where we want points to hit home. Clear and consise please.
You're the same guy that whines when people are "rude" or use 'bad' language and demands "respect", yet equally tells people to "shut up" yadda yadda......... Perhaps focus on your own output rather than chatting this kind of shit to others.

Not up to you to police the forum, buddy. People are at liberty to post as short or as long as they like, and you are at liberty to either read or keep scrolling.
You think Lenglet would've been his first pick for a transfer in? You think he didn't want someone better perhaps? He didn't seem to want Spence or Danjuma, we didn't need either of them and they don't play.
No of course he wasn't but by all accounts his first pick was Gvardiol (Too expensive) and Bastoni (Didn't want to leave Italy) so seemingly he wanted a LCB, in that time we have seen Martinez, Botman and Badiashile move the PL as well as Hincappie and and Ndicki, Kilman available or at least gettable, all left footed, are any of these players not good enough for Spurs, would they not improve the team?
I'm sure he didn't want Spence but it's obvious we needed a RWB and a LW (The club have been looking for a LW since Diaz) Spence is playing well at Rennes and Danjuma scored 6 in 9 in the CL last season, what grounds does he have to not use them when he played Emerson who wasn't at the level for 6 months and an out of form Son?
Yes you'd have to ask all the football people at the club and ask why our CB situation at the club is so bad and specifically the recruitment team for not sorting it out. Do you think Conte and his staff don't understand football or football players? Do you think we realise and they don't? Seriously? We've settled for poorer players since the days of Toby and Jan and it's hurt us. That's not on Conte, that's on the people who run the football club. You think Conte is gonna come out publicly and slag a new signing he's gotta work with? Of course not, doesn't mean he's happy with the signing.
The CB situation is bad at the club because the recruitment over the years has been a bag of shite let's be real. I don't expect him to come out and slag anyone off but there's clearly a balance if you're a football manager, if you don't rate a player then you don't openly come and boost him on many different occasions, if said player was SUCH a problem you would prioritise replacing them.
I think Conte and his staff do know football or football players yet the evidence this season suggests that he seems to have lost focus, do you not think he can be questioned on some of his decisions?
By the way this was the same DOF he worked with before for a few years so again the club bent over backwards to appease him. This is the same DOF running the recruitment now by the way so why are we making excuses for him?
Half decent? Since when was half decent and on loan good enough? We've got plenty of half decent, we need good or very good, not half decent. Conte knows this, he's said many times in press conferences about 'raising the levels'. If we wanna be a top club, we need good players with a strong mentality - like we used to have in 2017. It's another reason he was always going at the end of his contract.
Well obviously he's not good enough that's the point but he did sign off on him.
He can talk all he want about raising the levels but how many players are you expected to bring in over 3 windows which was what his contract was permitted to? How do you expect the club to rebuild the team in such a quick turnaround, he said himself it would take 3-4 windows last year at the point where we only had 2. If you're making such statements in public then you shouldn't be expecting a quick fix.
Richy has been injured a lot and he's not playing in front of Kane very often, nor should he. He's played him plenty when fully fit.
It's a fact Conte wanted Deulofeu? Are you privy to some information the rest of us are not? Sounds like speculation to me.
Richarlison has been stuck on the bench for the most part when he's not been injured, he hasn't played him plenty at all, that's nonsense, he's missed 8 games this season through injury and he's only completed one 90 mins out of a possible 18.
Guys tells the truth and gets called a cunt for it?! Harsh. He got us into the Top 4 last year, don't forget. We did the bare minimum last summer in the window and fucked around almost all of January. It doesn't matter who the manager is, under ENIC and Levy (the actual cunt in all of this)...
He's had money spent for sure but the squad was in such a dreadful state and allowed to be that way because of a series of mistakes you can only hold the board accountable for - namely piss poor recruitment both player and manager wise. £250m pissed away on ndom, lo celso, sanchez, sissoko, reggy, doherty, sess to name a few. Jose and Nuno. Piss poor.
Yeah no-one's going to argue that, we made a lot of mistakes in the past.
But you have to ask yourself if he's getting what he can out of the current squad and the near £200m outlay is getting used to it's maximum, do you think it is because you'll find a lot of fans that don't and I assume the board thinks that too.
I'd say 4th is about the best you're gonna get out of our current squad, especially with the injuries we've had this season (Hugo, Romero, Benta, every forward bar Kane) and the obvious personal and health problems the manager had.
Oh come off it, please use some context in your argument.
We were knocked out all the cups by weaker opposition than us and in those matches not even laying a finger on the opposition.
We've had about 2/3 complete 90 min performances this season in the league and the football we gave played has been average at best
We are 4th by having a virtue of having a killer in front of goal, something our rivals do not have.
You can't say 4th is probably the best you're gonna get out of this squad because many of our players are under performing, the only constant you have is Kane who is World Class.
As for the contract situation, Conte is not the custodian of Spurs, Levy is - why did Levy agree to an 18 month only deal in the first place with a manager who was gonna push him hard to improve the squad (quite rightly)? If Conte wouldn't agree to 3 years, Levy could've fucked him off and got someone else in - or perhaps, after Jose and Nuno, Levy was up shit creek without a paddle.
That's all well and good but nobody held a gun to Conte's head to sign a contract.
We can call out the intentions of Levy and rightly so, I think he was personally trying to save his skin but again no-one forced Conte to take the contract and with that there's a level of accountability he should be taking.
I think it's fine to call out the board by the way but no way should Conte be getting away with it, I don't have an issue with the press conference and what he said but he's in full preservation mode and he's using it to protect himself as opposed to really looking out for the club.

Which player are you talking about regarding politics and the board?
He's had money spent for sure but the squad was in such a dreadful state and allowed to be that way because of a series of mistakes you can only hold the board accountable for - namely piss poor recruitment both player and manager wise. £250m pissed away on ndom, lo celso, sanchez, sissoko, reggy, doherty, sess to name a few. I think a lot of what you say is fair counter argument, but this was all still very predictable, and Conte has also made mistakes, outside of his endemic, rigid adherence to a formulaic tactical approach, that in and of itself has become fairly predictable, which when bitching and whining about everyone and everything else, he conveniently forgets to mention.
Things like sending away the only two midfielders who can link defensive and offensive transitions, then constantly playing a (often outnumbered) midfield two who struggle to do this, and are pedestrian in all they do. Constantly playing an attacking three, two of whom have been continually underperforming.
Constant failure to address the lack of energy, aggression and cohesion without the ball. This is really basic stuff.
To watch 343 continually not work optimally with the players he has but steadfastly refuse to try something else.
The underuse of Bissouma, Gil, Sarr, Spence, Danjuma.
This was a predictably stupid appointment IMO. A really poor match of coaching approach and club.
I think I am in a position where I know more about football than you. I coached my local club team for 3 years. So maybe you can learn things from me instead of patronising me. Your age? I watched Brighton before and now and he has improved all aspects of the playing style in attack and defence. You want poch who struggled with psg in a crap french league with some of the best players in the world. Brighton have some good players. We have better players than Brighton. Imagine de zerbi with our squad and the ability to bring a few of his own. We would be still in the champions league and fa cup and maybe top 2 in the league. We need de zerbi.
Sorry but i question whether you know more than me wrt evaluating a managers qualities if you're basing an opinion off of +/- half a seasons worth of football. Brighton are doing well under him, not questioning that but the point is that he came in to a settled side already playing well - let's see how they perform over the next year or two under him as the side becomes his. He may be hot shit but it's too early to tell, he hasn't been tested.

Stupid tweet. Suggests people should take a more inconvenient route based on how much they make. Or is he suggesting Conte should have his own private jet? What nonsense.
