We simply have to win... last weekend, a draw at least meant the Arse dropped points too... therefore, as you were League position-wise...

...this weekend, they'll have a game in hand (would've been at home against WBA if im not mistaken)... we can't let them go into that game, whenever it is, thinking that their game in hand will take them 3 points closer to us... it gives them incentive!
We have to win tomorrow, to make sure we're at least 6 points clear of them ('7' if you include our +GD) so as to make them feel that they're constantly playing catch-up from now til the end of the season...
that's always been us in the past, and we've stumbled pretty much every time with the additional pressure.

Assuming we'll have Thursday's free now (after next week) we really will just have 1 game a week.... for 9 more crucial, agonising, glorious weeks!!

And don't forget... if we win tomorrow, that may put a little more pressure onto Leicester for their match on Monday. We'd be two points behind them (with better goal difference, of course), so anything less than a win for them would put us only one result away from catching them.

I hope Son starts and Dele is rested
...time to dust these down again...

City drawing is a bonus. We can go 7 points clear if we win, also puts pressure on Leicester and Woolwich going forward.

My best mate is a Villa fan, he reckons 4-0 Kane hat-trick.
Everton are in a good place after tonights great win. Hopefully deal with the Scum next week. As all have said, must win.

for once in our footballing lives get the win?

Unbelievably nervous about this game, because the ramifications are massive! Villa are surely going to one decent result before the end of the season? Hope it's not tomorrow!

Villa are suffering massively. The team aren't playing for each other, the don't play for the manager and they don't play for the fans. It's sad to see a club with a decent fan base have to go through it, but we need to be professional and go there and play our own game.

Press the players, win the ball and keep a high tempo. We have played some brilliant football this season, and we need the same tomorrow.
