Spurs have been my life since I was 8. Attending since 12 (to 64 so far), going on my own from 16, going to away games home and abroad from 17. First tear up at 16.
Went to Ladies away games from 2012. Did mid-week U18 away games with 1882.
Been 6 times this season and apart from Elfsborg they have all been shit. Literally have to talk myself into going these days and only then to have a catch up with mates or fellow TFCers.
We are merely a corporate entertainment centre now. The football club finally died in 2019 after a long and drawn out illness.
I have been to Portadown, Lewes and Dagenham this season and they were all much more enjoyable days out at a fraction of the cost.

Vicario shouldn’t be getting abuse from his own fans but our problem is we are all so bitter from the experience of being Spurs fans we have started to self cannibalise and we target our own team worse than other clubs at times.

In a moment of foolishness I started imagining what it would be like to win this competition. Part of the joy you'd normally get from it would be happiness for the players - e.g. I would have been so delighted for Kane, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Alli, Eriksen etc etc if we'd have won that Champions League final in 2019.
With this lot, who could you actually say the same about? Son (for historical reasons rather than recent performances), Davies (for the same reason). Maybe Vicario, VDV, Kulusevski at a push because they've been here a while and tend to at least put a shift in.
The rest of them? I just don't feel any sort of affection or care about any of them. There's no guts, no fight, no kind of sign they care at all about the shirt, and the vast majority aren't even very good. Maybe you could get away with it if you were a bit of a character (I'm thinking of the likes of Steffen Freund, Sandro, Lamela, who weren't the best players in the world but at least had something about them and showed they cared).
The vast majority of this lot are just proper unlikable, and that has to contribute to the apathy being shown by the fans currently.
