Ok, this might be a bit of a late shout, but if you were Levy and you had a meeting with Bale and his rep's today, and they said; "What's the best new contract you can offer for Gareth Bale to stay at Spurs; what would YOU offer?

Personally, I think he'd be worth £8m a year for 5 years, plus bonus' (goals, wins etc, however they do it in real-life, not FM) and a minimum fee release clause (not applicable to domestic clubs) of £120m of we have not qualified for the champions league that season.

That'd make him an his agent very rich men, and saves him the hassle of moving to Spain. A pretty good offer IMV.

I honestly wouldnt pander to him if there is a club who is fucking stupid enough to pay 80-100M for him. Id have sold months ago and spent the summer rebuilding the squad.

We've done some great business this window, but its so close to being undone massively at the moment, if we dont get the replacement we counted on, and Bale still leaves.

And I dont even want to think about Bale staying, and us spending money we didnt have, if thats a possible scenario.
