The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Ben has been professional and humble, he's not world-class, but he's very good on his day and his quiet, patient application has earned him a spot in my heart. I hope the lad is OK and he should def be given a job in the club when he retires. Surely he'll coach? He's got brains.Top professional. What gets me is that his thread has only 205 pages in almost 12 years. Seems incredibly low. I know he's a bit of a low profile player but still, the "who should be our next manager after Frank" thread that I started in a pretty drunken state in the end of November last year has more than half the amount of pages already ffs.
