Yeah, but now you've got vintage.

I have a feeling that if he joined and scored bucket loads of goals the issue about how much the fans liked him would soon change.BrooklynYid said:All the glitter is not gold. Berba learned this the hard way. Even if he is talented, I'm sure some of the squad would not be thrilled to have him back. Also- things wouldn't be the same. He'd no longer be a fan favorite.
I don't think so. It's a shrewd move if he goes there and scores shit loads of goals that keeps them up.kushty said:West Ham are interested apparently... tons of lolz!!! joke club!

I think his attitude has put off some of the bigger clubs so I think it's a move that isn't totally out of the question if he wants first team football.
His comments, not mine. I've heard so much shit like that from footballers over the years that it wouldn't really register with me. Things can change very quickly in the game. You know that.sammyspurs said:So after last year saying that "moving to any other club would be a step down" (that includes Barca and Real), you wouldnt laugh if Berba signed for West Ham and immediately got involved in a relegation dog fight?
Karma. But, frankly, I couldn't give a shit if he feels humiliation since it's not got anything to do with THFC anymore. It would be a shrewd move for the pikeys, but humiliation for Berbatov. And if thats the only move that can guarantee him first team football....even funnier.
Not at all.1882 said:I'd still have him back in a heartbeat... does that make me a shallow, naive man?
Marshy said:He was immense for us,let's get him back! Oh but he acted like a complete prick in the 1st couple of games of the new season before he buggered off didn't he,stay away judas. Hang on though, 5m is a bargain, get him back! Oh but he's getting on a bit now, stay away grandad. Hang on though, he's the missing piece, the quality striker at the head of the 433 with more skill than the rest of our strikers put together (that's defoe and...er,defoe),let's get him back! Oh hang on though,he's a tosser. Hmmm does that sum it up for everyone?

Incidentally, saw this online... so, just to compare and contrast with some other ex-Spurs players... who from THIS list would you HONESTLY have back... there really aren't many are there?
