I don't really need to, unless there is some mystical or esoteric hidden gem in there, in words that only the magi see.
You said "looks like". Which seems like an apology for " doesn't deliver"
You said he actually scores or assists in every game, currently he's on 6% scoring and 18% assisting
Against Woolwich he should have scored a couple, Against Newcastle he should have scored, yesterday he should have scored, against showffield united he scored but millimetres offside, against Villa he should have scored, against Wolves he scored, against Chavski he should have got an assist and was demolishing them until the sending off and that's from the top of my head.
His strongest point at Forest was finishing (and of course his pace) so I think it's fare to assume he will improve on his goal return. His assists are a good return Considering he's averaged less then 8 full games.
Sure - you undoubtedly provide assists of better quality all the time in your Sunday league games.
Watch it again bruv - it was a really good assist - good run to get the excellent through ball from Sarr then seeing Richy make his short run and putting it on a plate for Richy while Johnson was running at pace.

If you’re hating on that assist you’ve obviously just decided you don’t like Johnson for whatever reason - to each his own. But even if you think he’s been terrible (which I disagree with). Little early to write him off in my opinion. Time will tell.

Which is kind of my pointIf you think we’ve spent £40 odd million on Johnson and aren’t going to give him plenty of time, you’re off your rocker.
He’ll be with us and playing for years. Deal with it.
Far too early to be making a judgment on him (although I accept that the fickle nature of some of our “fans” means that some will try to do so)
Because it said nothing of value Richard, hopes and wishes and could haves. You clearly didn’t understand it, even if it was very clearly written
Which is kind of my point
47 million should be buying players that perform at Madison and Van De Ven levels, nobody is questioning their performances.
One thing I'm not is a fickle fan, and neither am I "hating" Johnson. I spend an inordinate amount of time berating people for the approbation and abuse they pour on our players.
I'm asking people what it is that they are seeing that imbues such devotion and antagonistic abuse of anyone who has the temerity to ask questions about him.
Remember that, "asking questions."

He played like this before he cut his head , in fact he has played like it in nearly every game but like I said when he toughens himself up he'll hopefully come good.Sure must be why Johnson played with 16 stitches on his forehead against Blue Scouse - (after going off on a concussion protocol against Forest) and showed up to his Spurs Play post game interview with a taped up ankle - But hey on a separate note, you be careful not hurt your fingers typing on that keyboard.![]()
are you missing the point intentionally? He should have
He should have
He should have
Jansen should have scored
Soldado should have scored
Raziak should have scored
Vinicus, etc etc
VDV and Maddison aren’t the same.Which is kind of my point

I don’t think hes technically lacking. He’s got a good first touch and is composed on the ball, plays with his head up and passes at the right time usually. he’s not a head down, dribbling step over type player but I don’t think that means he’s not technically good. Not sure why there is so much debate over him. He’s a player that is technically lacking but he has good positional sense (in the attacking end at least) and is about as fast as you can get.
My issue with him is that his overall play is still quite poor. First touch, shooting, strength, passing, work rate, and impact over the course of 90 mins, all well below what we need long term.Against Woolwich he should have scored a couple, Against Newcastle he should have scored, yesterday he should have scored, against Sheffield united he scored but millimetres offside, against Villa he should have scored, against Wolves he scored, against Chavski he should have got an assist and was demolishing them until the sending off and that's from the top of my head.
