Match Brighton & Hove Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur - Sunday 6th October - 16:30KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I don't mind Werner starting tomorrow. Brighton play the highest line in the league so you need runners in behind to exploit it. This game would have been perfect for Son so he is HUGE loss, but Werner is the ideal replacement for this particular game. I prefer Moore too but he's more of a creative winger and would be a better option against a lower block. But for this particular game, Werner's directness and pace makes him the better option

Yep. This game is ideally set up for a front 3 of Werner (clocked at 35.69 km/h vs United, 4th fastest in the league this season so far), Solanke (clocked at 36.1 km/h last season) and Johnson (clocked at 36.7, not sure when). If Brighton persist with their high line, without anyone close to that speed, they're asking for trouble.

Swap Werner out for Moore as he will be buzzing after what Ange said or play Spence there either would be better than Werner. Plus they are far more hard working than turbo.
After his first senior start ever on Thursday night, where he played a full 90, on a heavy track? Unlikely.

He'll get 30 minutes if we need a goal or a 10 minute cameo if we're ahead.

The full power of the thought police will be out in force for this one. Gotta love the free world! Fans encouraged to grass up fellow fans, cameras including advanced CCTV and bodycams, lip reading technology on display, the most indoctrinated woke club on the planet hosting already demonised neo fascist far right Tottenham Hotspur (yeah fucking right) and all because humour that our parents’ generation could quite easily laugh off and not take in any way seriously is now considered hate speech. FFS our country is screwed. Presume watching reruns of Allo Allo or Carry On films now make you Hitler, right?
First they came for the communists . . .

Not much use if they put 10 men in the box to counter act their injuries and form.

I think that in this game more than any other since Newcastle we need to be super clinical in front of goal. Seems an obvious thing to say but a decent fast start is paramount.

Btw:
Minteh 35.38 km/h
Baleba 34.16 km/h
Mitoma 34.02km/h

The main reason Brighton went with the ridiculous high line v Chelsea was the injury to Van Hecke, who has been outstanding, Brighton simply do not have the same cover at CB,so risked a different option.
Not many teams will beat Chelsea at home this season so I guess it was a chance worth taking for Brighton.
Van Hecke is still out injured so I expect a similar approach tomorrow.
Should be a cracking game to watch and can't call a result for this one,Welbeck seems to have been around for about 30 years or more but is probably playing the best football of his life right now.
Brighton have yet again managed to find yet another quality midfielder in Baleba,he looks like a upgrade on Bissouma already which is a bold statement but if you've not seen him play before you will probably see what I mean after tomorrow.
Certainly a good time to be playing Brighton with Pedro,Van Hecke,Andringa missing, but still a very dangerous team especially down the flanks on the counter.

In all seriousness I fancy us for this and I'm expecting another good performance. The worrying thing for me is everytime I start to believe or get excited it usually ends up in a poor performance and result. Same team as last week please.

I have no fucking time for any that but tbh the encroachment on civil rights via the auspices of keeping us safe from morally objectionable speech or thought is nothing new.

That chant is fucking stupid though so what's the point of fighting the power on this one? Just get a better chant. If they were saying we can't use YID ARMY chants then fight it until the club has no fans left but this one? Just over a shit joke about Arteta taking it up the arse.

It's not even funny, the days when jokes about being gay held any controversy or humour are looooong gone.
