I thought that was just like a one game rest. Wow! Intrigue... a nice excuse to see what the team looks like without Son while giving him an extended rest.
I'm guessing Ange knows that by sacrificing Son for 1 more match he gets him an extra 2 weeks recovery and no intercontinental travel.
