The full power of the thought police will be out in force for this one. Gotta love the free world! Fans encouraged to grass up fellow fans, cameras including advanced CCTV and bodycams, lip reading technology on display, the most indoctrinated woke club on the planet hosting already demonised neo fascist far right Tottenham Hotspur (yeah fucking right) and all because humour that our parents’ generation could quite easily laugh off and not take in any way seriously is now considered hate speech. FFS our country is screwed. Presume watching reruns of Allo Allo or Carry On films now make you Hitler, right?
Serious question, would a stylish gay Brighton fan be offended by some fat, drunk Yids singing ‘gay boy gay boys’ or similar? Probably don’t give a fuck e.g. is this the perineal offended white, middle class lefties sticking their unwanted beaks in?

Porro is absolutely class and one of our most influential players but I wouldn’t be against that tbh. I would start him if he’s not carrying any niggles and bring him off but either or

Agree.

Ange showed Thursday night that he's not afraid to rest senior players that have already played 180 minutes that week. Especially when it gives a start to guys that need minutes to become fully fledged squad members.

Porro's call up for Spain is a factor too.

Lol bit of a dull argument.

It's been highlighted as an unacceptable chant by our LGBTQ+ group so let's just stop singing it.

Not afraid against lower tier oppo! Still ballsy and I agree.

As for Porro he should have been starting for Spain since last year…

What rest him for Spain? The other big clubs will be playing all their top players irrespective of if they have an international call up. Strongest team. I think Son is injured and they are not telling us the full story. He loves his Country and is too honest to deceive them that he simply needs a rest.

No need to consider resting anyone as we have an International break. No point resting them so they play more International mins. Assume Son will not make it as withdrawn from International call up. Korea would never agree that if he is going to play Sunday. Starting to wonder how bad it is and if he will be out even longer. Ange talked about having to be careful about Moore so assume he will not play another game so soon. Therefore left with Werner whose finishing is becoming an embarrassment. Udombie if fit or Spence. Rest pick themselves.

This will be much tougher than MU.
Play Spence wide left he has faster than Timo and can actually beat players with a bit skill and is more physical.

Vic
Porro - Romero - VDV - Udogie
Bentancur
Kulu - Maddison
Johnson - Solanke - Werner
Team picks itself at this point. Good as it's been a while since we had that.

Werner's pace should be useful and then bring on Moore vs tired legs.
Swap Werner out for Moore as he will be buzzing after what Ange said or play Spence there either would be better than Werner. Plus they are far more hard working than turbo.

I don't mind Werner starting tomorrow. Brighton play the highest line in the league so you need runners in behind to exploit it. This game would have been perfect for Son so he is HUGE loss, but Werner is the ideal replacement for this particular game. I prefer Moore too but he's more of a creative winger and would be a better option against a lower block. But for this particular game, Werner's directness and pace makes him the better option
