Going into this game on a good run of form, hopefully we can get a win in what I'm sure will be a crazy game.

4 out of 5 of our first choice midfield/attack got some useful minutes tonight, (Maddison, Kulu, Johnson & Solanke) but didn't have to play the entire game...
That's the perfect scenario in my book.

Only Porro, Romero and Vicario played the whole game... Just gotta assume they came through unscathed.

VDV, Son, Udogie and Bentancur rested entirely, and hopefully Son & Udogie are fit for the weekend...

Feels self explanatory (Provided Son is available). However, regardless of how we may feel about it, I do think there is a chance that he could swap Dragusin for Romero. Ultimately, we signed Dragusin so that wouldn't be a clear divide between the starting pair, and the backups. The idea was that we'd have at least three centre backs of starting quality. To not play Dragusin when he's had a week off and Romero's played the full 90 tonight, would almost be the confirmation that he's not as trustworthy as Romero and Van Der Ven.. And I don't know if the manager would want to send that message.

Was thinking the same re Romero but would probably start Romero and make a premeditated half time swap for Dragusin. Same for Porro (who also has a lot of minutes in last 2-3 weeks) with Spence.

Actually flip that around: Romero+Spence first half, swapping for Dragusin+Porro at half time so we have some experience there both halves.

Dragusin has to start playing more, we need Richarlison healthy, and we need Spence to step up.
 
I feel like we will be too strong and win this. Werner to score at least 1 probably 2 and I think he will miss 4 on top of that…
