And there was me convinced he was a new Luka Modric in the making. About the same time I thought Nuno could do a job.

Nope. He's shite. And at least Gil doesn't support genocide
Seriously? Just because he’s Israeli doesn’t mean he supports the Israeli governments policies on Palestine. Unless he’s made a statement to the effect That he supports the government. You don’t know him, and quite frankly this tarring every Israeli with the Netanyahu brush is just racism. Maybe keep the political stuff for the political threads.

I was hypothetically saying which of the two I’d keep if I had to keep one based solely on footballing ability and how it fits Ange’s system. Obviously Ange agrees as he’s left Gill behind but taken Solomon on tour. I didn’t actually say I WANTED to keep him, it was just a stupid hypothetical.

Pretty sure there's an awful lot of propaganda going on from both sides of that conflict that too many people believe whole heartedly.
Bottom line is, people are dying and their homes and livelihoods are being taken away on both sides.

It's sad that in 2024, people believe everything they read and never question it, ultimately labelling innocent people supporters of genocide.

Sure, but I bet he stays. You can only get rid of so much dead wood in a window, and then someone has to be interested in him. He was a free tfer and wouldn’t have thought he’d be on high wages. As we haven’t bought a winger yet we need backup players if we get injuries and for cups/Europa. He’ll stay, that’s why Ange has been playing him in practice games. My guess is no one is interested in him so we’re stuck with him.

You are almost certainly right that we aren't getting a buyer for Solomon. We got him for free and then he was injured all season. Who in their right mind would give us money for that?

What we can avoid is him being relied on to play a part of the squad. He didn't cost us anything in terms of a transfer so we can replace him with minimal risk, then either bench him or send him out on loan. Ideally on loan so he can play enough football to establish a baseline value.

Just cut losses and release and move forward
