The only good thing is Man U pulling a route consisting of Barcelona, Liverpool & realistically Juventus if they are to win it and throw that Top 4/ 4th place not gaining entry to next seasons Champs.
Man City, Juventus, Barcelona potentially for our lot. Let's be honest the only result we could have got is pulling an easier QF, the semis and final would have been just as hard as it will be for us or City now.
Tottenham draw the favourites, Liverpool draw the outsiders, how amazingly typical. This season our cup draws have seen us pull West Ham away, Woolwich away, Chelsea away 2nd & most important leg, Crystal Palace away, Barcelona, Inter Milan, PSV Eindhoven, Borussia Dortmund 2nd most important leg away and Man City, 2nd most important leg away. I doubt any team has had a run of draws as ridiculously difficult as those games. Really the only Cup draw we've had this season that was somewhat favourable was Tranmere away as Watford at home we had to play at MK Dons.
1 draw in 11 made that has been OK, 10 of those 11 against teams in their top domestic leagues, 1 home draw out of 9 (Watford at home), the rest have been away draws or favourable 2nd leg away draws for the other teams.
8 out of 9 wanky away draws for us, the group of death in the Champions League 2 seasons in a row, 2x knockout ties this season vs teams at the top of their respective leagues with them pulling the away return leg advantage and constantly pulling one of the bigger teams in the semis where we come up short. Woolwich get 2 of their 3 FA cup wins have come in finals against Hull City & Aston Villa. One things for sure, god certainly ain't a Tottenham fan!
Let's enjoy it, let's hope we rattle them and keep a clean sheet. It's a long shot but if by some miracle we can nick a 2-0 win it would set the 2nd leg up amazingly for us. Dare to dream and all that
