Lol this again. Can't believe people seriously think there's some anti-Spurs conspiracy going on.
I don’t like to think that it’s a conspiracy, I think teams get a load of bad decisions (maybe some more than others), but referees have to be consistent in the way they take decisions. I get that we’re humans and we interpret in different ways, but I’ve got to agree with Postecoglou there. If a player gets sent off for a tackle like Romero’s, then be consistent and use the same rules.

If anything it should have been a free kick for a Sterling Dive ........
thats what i thought when i saw it agine
+ what happens when there is a foul which var says its a red card but ref dident see and lets it play on and then a another foul happens which gets both teams into a brawl where one player punches the other player which would be a red card but var says the first fould is a red ?
i would think from the rules the guy who punched the other player should not get a red card 🤔

So their line up is likely to be what exactly?!

Petrovic
Gilchrist - Chalobah - Badiashile - Cucarella
Caicedo - Gallagher
Madueke - Palmer - Mudryk
Jackson

Not really.

But positions really shouldn't be so rigid. A competent footballer who's comfortable receiving the ball and moving into a number 10 position but can also cover the left side should be able to do a job as an inverted left back. We play a CM at LB in the youth because he fits the profile of what we play.

Lee Carsley has got it massively right with the England youth team. Positions don't exist to him. If you have attributes that suit a certain position, you're good enough to play there.

It's why I don't think Lo Celso at LB in this particular set up is a terrible idea from a suitability point of view. However, I think his height may be an issue, we're already tiny.
I thought GLC at lb wouldn't be a terrible shout when the Udogie news broke but honestly wasn't bold enough to post it and deal with the usual crap when his name is mentioned...

Anyone see Bellingham go up to Kane last night and try to put him off? The ref ushered him away straight away. Imagine our refs being so bloody sensible and efficient.
