Olivia Munn Flirting GIF

Now, Olivia Munn on the other hand..........

What, are you not impressed by another suit who has no idea about the sport we pretend to give a shit about? Ted Lasso minus the heartwarming bit.

I'm sure he's very good at marketing & revenue and knows a bit about AFL, so that's good. We wouldn't want to go and appoint people who really love the game, as they're a bit too likely to connect with the fans and get us playing decent football. What we need is more Beyonce concerts.
Who would you have, then?

This is an interesting read...

CFG, where Munn is coming from, is basically about the Disneyfication of football clubs - something which is clearly of great interest to the Bald Cunt. Global expansion of the brand - sell more shirts, Mr Byrite jr. This isn't necessarily a 'football' appointment (although onfield success is a vital part of the package), it's more like Head of Global Franchising & Merchandising.

Let's not forget we're interested in the football club, but Levy's focus is elsewhere ($$$$).

It looks like a placeholder to be able to say there is someone in the job while they wait for Paratici to return (whether that is realistic or not). When his role is described it sounds more like an overall director and not necessarily the guy who will driving the football side of things. I don't know what this hold Paratici has on Spurs but it looks like they are just satisfying the demand to replace him without really filling his job.

I just don’t care.

It’s so tedious. I get enough of this cobblers at work; new ‘international’ appointments dropped into the most senior positions, with their impeccable CVs and vacuous sound bites.

I don’t give a flying fuck about our international football operations.

I want 2 CBs, 2 midfielders, a 10 and a new striker.

Plus a goalie.

Perhaps this isn't the thread for you then mate.

What by employing a guy who knows nothing about football?
He's worked in football for over a decade. He ran Melbourne City FC for 9 years and established them as a dominant team in the A-League. And was then given the job of building a club in China for CFG.

Him not having been a player shouldn't play into him getting a executive position what so ever.

Someone really needs to remind Levy that he’s going to actually have to win something if he wants youngsters in South East Asia to give a flying fuck about Tottenham.

Honestly. The delusion that runs through this club.

:levystare:So, what is your vision for the Club, Mr Munn?

Well, initially my main priority will be a SpursWorld in Sol (to include several clothing sweatshops), followed by another in Beijing, the rebranding of Sydney FC to Sydney Spurs who will then play in dark blue & white. Subtle changes to the kit to be introduced monthly, to increase sales. A new 5-a-side franchise to be developed in London, then across the world.

:levywhoa:Thank you for that. And what about the team on the pitch at White Hart Lane?

The what, on the what, at where? Sorry Mr Levy, could you repeat the question please?

:levylol:No need, Mr Munn. You start on Munnday!

This is the premier leage not some pseudo professional league. He also ran NRL and Aussie rules and played some part in the Olympics. He knows nothing about real football, dealing with the sort of players and teams we need to deal with. It's the same bull shit of accepting people miles out of their comfort zone. He as zero ability when it comes to this league and we need to improve, not to the level of Brisbane or Perth or Sydney but to Liverpool man utd city and the scum. Thats another galaxy.

Don't know, but I do know the boring point you're trying to make by asking, and I'm not interested in being drawn in to an ENIC defendathon.
I'm asking an honest question. I'm not aware of anyone that fits the idea of a "football man" for this role, but would be interested in seeing someone who has a better background before I judge whether I'm happy/unhappy about the appointment.
