The key point in this discussion is that Levy has not enriched himself at the expense of the club. All of the clubs increased revenue (and he has done an incredible job at increasing revenue) has gone back into the club.

They had no choice but to freeze STs, and they really are still too high for what is being served up.
Appointing a football director that has no real indicators of any quality doesn't inspire confidence. It may be a master stroke. We don't know, of course.
But right now everything looks dire. We are looking for something to inspire and lead the way. This doesn't appear to be it.

Acting miserable and moaning at the club is the in thing now on social media, if you're not acting out on emotions bemoaning the club's every move then you're 'a part of the problem' or you're a 'happy clapper', people are so desperate to be angry Karen's or play out the woe is us narrative - as I said misery loves company.
