Management Chief Football Officer Scott Munn

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Will this guy be introduced in the stadium before the 3pm kick off or may be at half time? Can't wait.

Now that would be absolutely fantastic :contelol:

I can see it now

haha really? Is that it?

You do know Levy's currently publicly worth hundreds of millions, don't you? Which means privately he's worth billions.

You do know that, don't you?
What is your point? His wealth is mostly as a result of his stake in the club.

What has levy’s wealth got to do with the fact that the club invests all its revenue streams back into the club?

don’t distract from the issue at hand

All I ask is that when we get a Munn head in the emojis, make sure his glasses are on it. I don't want to get him and Levy mixed up when I'm cussing them.

Think it's pretty fucking obvious.

Think everyone would be happy for ENIC to 'leverage' us with loans if it led to trophies, and/or they then fucking cancelled those loans anyway when they sold up.

But yes, they're not the Glazers. Woopedy fucking do.
So do you leverage the club with loans?

In the real world you’re not guaranteed trophies.

Tell us - would you indebt the club to make yourself richer if it increased our chance of winning trophies?

The key point in this discussion is that Levy has not enriched himself at the expense of the club. All of the clubs increased revenue (and he has done an incredible job at increasing revenue) has gone back into the club.

Come on man, 1+1=2 is the limit of their brain capacity. Anything more than that and they revert to their usual "fucking Levy" mumblings.

I agree. Why bother increasing our revenue. It's not like we'll need sustainable sources of income to compete. The bald cunt can go and get loans for that. I mean fuck it, while we're at it let's tear down the new stadium and rebuild a 36K capacity.
Yeah. Course.... How on earth do fans expect us to continue to land players like Lenglet on loan, grab fee transfers like Forster and Perisic, and keep hold of all our bang average dross like Davies, Dier and Sanchez etc :disdain:

For fuck sake mate. Wake up and smell it!

Some of you just love to moan about the club no matter what happens.

Conte sacked, moan like fuck.

STs frozen, moan like fuck.

Some Football Director appointed, moan like fuck.

Give it a rest FFS. 🤦🏻‍♂️

They had no choice but to freeze STs, and they really are still too high for what is being served up.

Appointing a football director that has no real indicators of any quality doesn't inspire confidence. It may be a master stroke. We don't know, of course.

But right now everything looks dire. We are looking for something to inspire and lead the way. This doesn't appear to be it.

Acting miserable and moaning at the club is the in thing now on social media, if you're not acting out on emotions bemoaning the club's every move then you're 'a part of the problem' or you're a 'happy clapper', people are so desperate to be angry Karen's or play out the woe is us narrative - as I said misery loves company. 😆

Gonna copy my post from the other thread, sue me

To be clear he is absolutely not a football person full stop, he's a business-side person with a business-side resume, making this title a little weird. It's more like a second attempt at the Trevor Birch appointment, remember that?

The good news is that Levy is not a moron, it's clear he understands an operation at Spurs' current scale can't be a three man leadership show of a manager, a head of recruitment, and Levy himself like it's still 2004. You need management and lines of authority. Having the actual football operations of the men's and women's teams do their operational day-to-day reporting to someone who isn't Levy is a sensible step even if entirely meaningless in terms of Levy's power and control.

What would be even better news is if this is someone willing and able to speak publicly about the club and its operations and plans. Because, like, Jesus H. Christ look at that announcement. Can we get a picture of Scott Munn? A quote? Literally any explanation about what the job is at all?

Don't be disappointed if this guy is just a PR lackey. PR lackeys is actually one of the most critically deficient areas at the club. I don't see much in the way of public communication at his previous posts though, I guess we'll see.

It's also quite funny and revealing that amidst all the tumult over Paratici, there was not the slightest whiff of this from any supposed club insiders in the journalism community. Remember that next time someone claims they know what's going on inside Lillywhite House.
So he is our new manager then.
Fits the bill.
Knows nothing about football, friends with Levy, perfect !!
