They report after tax normally so about 220? Plus signing on bonus
Apparently on about €10m per year?
A paltry £163,000 a week and we were offering him more!
Must be true about Verts?
i guess it is not about the money - maybe its about the football then?
Milan is a top class city - one of my favourite in EuropeBetter weather, better food. whats not to like?
Who knows, if he wanted to play in another country it may have been the only way.But by not signing a new contract with Spurs he's been on circa £80k pw for 3 years or so, missing out on say £100k pw or £5m pa or £15m over 3 years...….was it worth it ?

That's one way of looking at it and may have been his plan, what is certain is Levy doesn't sell a star with a contract without a near record fee. Eriksen has made no secret he wants to play in other countries and he may well have thought that this would be worth it.With 20/20 hindsight, possibly.
However when he declined to sign a new contract he and his agent were convinced that Madrid/Barccelona wanted his services - possibly by paying a big transfer fee but they thought they would get a much bigger wage by running down the contract. They should have encouraged a big bid as probably got paid bigger wages than he is currently being offered...…..and got higher wages 3 years earlier !.
If you were really old fashioned, you would be looking on teletext!
If Barca take him next year, i hope there's a nice sell on bonus coming back this way.I would think eriksens agent has been speaking to barca all the time. Speak to inter, agree a fee. Then barca come in last minute so levy doesnt over charge

Perhaps they see the remainder of this season as a once in a lifetime opportunity to beat Juve to the title.Don't get Inter - then can have him for free in 5 months
Is Tim Sherwood's Italian cousin in charge there?
Yes, but other clubs could offer him better wages, plus thy need him to win the league.Don't get Inter - then can have him for free in 5 months
