Agree. Conte being there will change things completely.I actually think he’d come back in a heartbeat if offered the opportunity
Playing devil's advocate here, but does anyone think that defenders are standing off him, because of what happened? We all saw how the Norwich guy reacted after Eriksen fouled him.2 Marvellous goals for him in 2 internationals today.
Appearently the Serbs were very fond of him too.
That's a fair point. I remember when Gazza started playing in Italy after that long injury lay-off that he was treated pretty "kindly."Playing devil's advocate here, but does anyone think that defenders are standing off him, because of what happened? We should have got him in January. A great option off the bench initially and I bet a starter by the end of the season.
Yep me too. Happy to stay with the memories.
So you are saying that because of 1 goal vs Chelski today he alone would have so far secured Spurs 10 extra points in the EPL since February...?It’s criminal that we didn’t bring him back. It’s almost embarrassing all the Spurs fans that didn’t think he could have improved us. We would have bagged 4th if he returned in January.

There‘s a reason he went to Brentford, and it wasn’t for a perceived lack of quality. Neither Spurs or any larger club were willing to take a risk on him with his cardiac issue, but for a smaller club it could be a relatively low risk/very high reward which proved to be the case. I wouldn’t doubt more clubs might be in for him now, but that has to be taken in account.Where have you got 10 points from? If we had Eriksen then I’m sure we would have got considerably more than 0 points against Burnley, Wolves and Southampton. We struggle to control games, we have a lack of depth (and quality) in centre midfield. He would have improved us a lot. I said about bringing him back before he joined Brentford, this isn’t a knee jerk reaction.
We need a midfielder like him still.I said he'd be lucky to play again, his career may be over, but it's not a certainty. You don't bloody know.

I didn't know that. Thanks. That is blatantly untrue, though.
He wanted to PLAY with assuarances, which he could get from Brentford.
Who, btw, has Danish owners and a Danish manager who knows Chris from the Danish FA.
True, but I guess it’s one in the same. Other clubs aren’t going to make assurances on someone with something akin to a pacemaker. A larger club with potentially more on the line aren’t going to take that risk, I don’t think. That is blatantly untrue, though.

You could seriously play Eriksen at RWB for the first time in his life, and he'd be an upgrade over the buffoons we throw out there.
