Let’s say we have 115 charges without state backing. We get sent to the conference league, now with Man City there is political pressure, they get maybe 30-50 point deduction instead, something more mild that won’t cause a political headache.
You now have a protected class of club.
The sickening thing is that even a 30-40 point deduction would do very little harm beyond a low table finish and a season out of the CL which would just facilitate them brutalising the league the year after. Even a 50 point deduction would require them to simultaneously have a notably worse season than usual in order to face relegation.
They won't, but by rights if they get found guilty as charged they ought to get the Rangers treatment whilst having all their trophies from that period of time stuck from the history books; as it would spell that their entire modern history has been one big illegitimate sham (which of course we all know it is anyway).

Basically the UK gov get whatever kickback they negotiate and the EPL get a nice juicy sum too. We already know UEFA won't kick them out of the CL of their own accord; they'd have already followed through with it a few years ago.

yea just seems more of a direct head down sort of player. why are they changing the profile of player when they have been dominating? it just looks like a signing that maybe they are getting ready for life after pep with more traditional sort of wingers rather than the tiki taka type
Had open chequebook pep since hes been there. Bit of adversity hes having now and will see if he can handle it or call it a day. Early to say but perhaps it's the start of the decline.
