Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It’s OK. They could lose every game from now until the end of the season and the Rapists still wouldn’t be able to overhaul them. Lest we forget who the perennial bottlers are here.
For Pete's sake, why are you tempting fate? If Woolwich do overtake them, I'm blaming you!

Just reading this article:
...and it dawned on me, they just seem to GET all the decisions right, or should I say, all their decisions work out...

Klopp was a virtually impossible act to follow (*see SAF at Man Utd) but the club had already put into place a winning able squad at their peak, so effectively Slot just has to carry on the good work.

They'll no doubt move seamlessly onto Xabi Alonso when they're ready, cos they have ex-Players of that calibre to step up (to be fair, they also have Steven Gerrard, so swings and roundabouts!)
It remains to be seen if any if OUR past players like Scott Parker turn out to be the real deal... Never know, he COULD be OUR Xabi Alonso in years to come??!

But I guess the point is, our trajectories have gone in totally opposite directions since THAT final in 2019... It was as much a 'sliding doors' moment for US as the year before was for THEM!

Wind back to 2018, they lost the CL final to Real, so what do they do?
...strengthen the two positions (GK/CB) they need to recruit, and "bang" ...they win the thing against us the following year!

Flip that to US... we were in a similar position in 2019 ... Yes, we were runners up, no great Shane there, but rather than BUILD on that and address what and where it went wrong, what did WE do? Go into a self sabotaging panic, Spiral out of control and change everything on a whim that may now take YEARS to repair.

I've just realised I've missed the point of this thread... as I'm not laughing at them right now!

Being nice to the scousers for once... nice piece by Becker (putting aside the YNWA sentiment) on his father passing and how coped (with some of that YNWA sentiment). He's always come across (to me) as a decent bloke, whenever I've seen him interviewed.

All 4 of Liverpool's remaining EPL opponents have been "offered the chance" to give them a guard of honour over the coming weeks.......

Errr.... Yeh... No thanks. :llorishuh:

I think they need the guard of honour. Accompanied by Refs and VAR.
Only fair to acknowledge everyone's involvement. Also possible extend the curtesy to the Scum for ensuring the Dippers won.
