Far as I am concerned Robbie and Claude should have simply come forward and admitted that they where wrong and apologise.

I am all for forgiveness and giving chances (which modern society doesn’t seem to be anymore but that is a separate issue) but there needs to be acceptance that Son doesn’t need to be insulted like that. Things get said in anger but it could have been a good teaching moment.

Yeah - whilst it's wrong what Claude said and I don't condone racism, there is a little part of me that's a bit worried about Claude as a person. He's clearly very unstable and has had plenty of issues with mental health in the past. I remember when he went missing a few years back and there were fears of suicide. So I do hope, whilst he won't be on the show anymore, he does stay around these lot he probably does consider his friends and he has people who can help him through a loss of what is his career.

An apology would have gone a long way. Chances of that were ruined by trying to wriggle out of it.

As far as health is concerned, he’s doubled in size since being on that train wreck, and my guess would be increased alcohol abuse enabled by extra cash. This may actually be a positive wake up call for him, but I doubt it.

Robbie has been very vocal and made several vids about racism and kick it out.. It seems he’s only interested when it’s aimed at black people, which in itself is racist.
He’s not interested when it was aimed at Son, he’s not interested in Troops comment about Kane being white, he’s even laughed in the past when DT called Kane a Mong (not racist I know).
His ears only prick up when blacks are abused.
He also, only issued an apology because sponsors pulled out and everyone pointed out how pathetic his video covering it up was.

People like Robbie and AFTv are dangerous and part of the overall problem.

This x100 it's one of the things that really annoyed me with the whole situation atm. I fully understand that racism to black people is a huge issue but without making it an argument and wrecking another thread

I've heard more casual and sometimes serious racism to Chinese and Indian/Pakistani people then I ever have black people. 3 kids at school I grew up with not even 10 years ago one black one of Chinese decent one Indian decent never heard anyone say anything to my black mate but must of heard the word "chink" and phrases like curry mucher and "Paki" a hundred times.

Racism against Asians is very very common, much more do then against black people IMO. But yet only one gets serious media coverage. Look at when Spurs where accused without evidence of racism against Rudiger it was national news for a week and brought out all the usual suspects claiming the games racist and so is society.

Son has been racially abused what 3-5 times? Confirmed and it's had about a minute of media coverage combined.

It's almost like the media have a hidden agenda isn't it

He made a full video about it and even though it was explained to him what the fans were saying, he never retracted it

He made a tv programme recently about being black and a football supporter he had other coloured fans with him discussing their experiences all be it, it was when they were all younger 70s, 80s and things have moved on considerably but he should know fine well about racism and what affect it has. Pissed as a fart, I bought a snide Black Dicks in White Chicks DVD from one such seller when I was in The Swan on Tottenham High Road after a game. I miss that place, especially the Caribbean barbecue they had out the back.
