I don't have a problem with what Arteta's said here. He's congratulated us for our success and properly decided not to be drawn into a puerile argument. He's acted like a responsible professional.

It's no secret that Woolwich aren't happy with their complete failure to challenge Liverpool and their bottle job against PSG so to try and present that as a more successful season makes no sense. If it's not making them happy, it's not a success.

I don't get the piggybacking on the women's football at all. I'm glad that women have their own professional competitions and I wish them all the best with it but I don't feel any personal connection to it - any success for the Tottenham Women's team would be about as personally relevant to me as Sunderland's promotion to the Premier League. I'm not trying to be sexist but I'm not going to waste my time or theirs pretending to have a passion that isn't there.
My issue is he says 'I don't like to compare with other teams' that's a lie for days he tried to compare his failed seasons to this Liverpool's successful season...

It’s akin to bragging if our under 18s won the league but these lot actually have no shame!

The gunner runner who lives opposite me didn't realise I was in my car when he opened his front door and came outside. I started the car. I've never seen anyone run indoors so fast. Didn't even have time to wave at him. Thus proving the old saying. :)

Ahh yes massive for them... of course, only for them (and congratulations are due)

As for the rest of the world - Sky Sports have ran a grand total of 2 articles on it this morning before nudging it right down the page to accommodate for the PL coverage. Enough said
