The owner of the Sacramento Kings are apparently looking to buy Chelsea.

Speaking of which, I've a good friend who is a private jet engineer. He sent pics of Uncle Joe's plane that he was working on yesterday. I asked if there was anything on board that could be used as blackmail material. Unfortunately not, he also said there definitely weren't any receipts for footballer purchases knocking about either. If only they had an owner who owns their own fleet of private jets they could call upon in these difficult times.

There is A major difference in the assets on offer, THFC includes the land on which the stadium is built as well as surround cinema complexes etc.Enic are reportedly looking for more or less the same as Chelsea for a full sale. And our clubs are not that far off each other in value so that is reasonable.
But most reports indicate that Levy is not looking to sell the entire club, but to sell a stake.
It's like Festivus & Christmas rolled into one!
It probably is,and I look forward to seeing the change from the Victoria line to the piccadilly line at Finsbury park when they play us...They can only spend £20,000 to get to games , hotels , flights etc . That for a premiership team is not possible

Depends.Plus they won’t be sold quickly at all. All this talk of the government selling them asap is massively wide of the mark if you ask me. Too many hurdles.

Don't talk to me about London/Norwich hitchhiking. I nearly died of hypothermia doing that in October 1974.They're playing Norwich away tonight - 3 hour trip. Checked and they can get a national express arriving for 17:15, which takes 5 and a half hours, for about £30 per head.
May need to hitchhike home though!

Didn't I read that they can't?Can they sell drink and food in the ground?
I disagree.None of that will happen. Bojo will protect them. Tories are corporatists, and they will protect the corporation.

Write to Johnson making clear that you don't want them let off lightly. He's a populist and will drive Chelsea to the wall if he thinks there's a vote in it.None of that will happen. Bojo will protect them. Tories are corporatists, and they will protect the corporation.
True. But have to add that the fact it's taken this long absolutely stinks of corruption. They have given him long enough to sort out loads of his affairs. This still has a whole backstory yet to be told.I am honestly shocked that the government and the NCA have got their act together. There would have been something perverse about allowing him to sell the club.
