Over on kUMB they are justifying the spitting as players spit on the floor and roll about in it.
Also reckon 3 game ban is enough and he’s been made an example of, a poster boy for spitting offences.
He should be given the chance to apologise, and everyone move on.
Leg breaking tackles don’t need get as long, etc.

Well Vieira got a 6 game ban and few hundred grand fine for gobbing on Ruddock a long time back, so it’s not abnormal.
Maybe spit on some West Ham fans fake stone island gear or all over the big brims of their peaky blinders caps ( oh, my old mans a dust man) next time, they don’t think it’s that bad.
Just apologise and cunt them off for making such a fuss.
to be fair most on there are calling him a scumbag animal (or were during the match thread).

Didn't it use to be called the Turks Head?
Some of our more lively fans from Bethnal Green use to get in there(before my time).
I got to know them in the 90s from going away.
I actually got free drinks in there one night.Had a mate who was a stripper and she had an audition in there and asked me to go along as she didn't know the pub or the area,as she was from over the water in Woolwich
For some reason they didn't charge me for the beers i had.

There used to be a Turks head up the north end of Brick Lane..

There is no way this is not Sullivans policy, he is involved in recruitment as he keeps mentioning with the "good" buys. This is the clubs position the only mistake from their point of view is vocalizing it in this clumsy manner rather than use euphemisms.

It will be interesting if he falls on his sword (with a big payoff) as I am convinced he can kick up a stink otherwise.

They could have said: "Regrettably, the club has struggled at times to manage the conflicting schedule created by the African Cup of Nations. For that reason the club is not actively planning to pursue any African players in the foreseeable future."

Everyone would have thought "that's extremely harsh, but I get it..."
