I fear that if they get relegated, the club would be sold as a franchise and change name to Red Bull London.
Why do you fear this. Sound absolutely lol funny. That would be my second team. Can't wait. West ham the gift that keeps giving. If any missguided soul feels an iota of pity try and recall when they got the Olympic death trap and how their dummy fan base kept saying it meant they were bigger than us and we were now a pointless club.

First and foremost you just know the fans would start supporting them after two weeks of moaning that the dildo brothers sold their name and identity to the Devil, then they would start putting serious money into the club like they did with Leipzig and Salzburg. ‘Red Bull London - The academy of football’. Do we really need a new franchise club as direct rivals?

I don't see West Ham as particularly attractive from an investors point of view, they don't have a big enough fan base to really maximize revenue of a 60,000 seater stadium hence the multiple kids for a quid /£99 pound season tickets and they don't own it so can't create other revenue streams from the stadium, there's also the fact that the stadium is terrible for football and 90% of the seats are too far from the pitch.

It would cost 100s of millions and years probably decades of aggro legal wrangling and public backlash to buy and redevelop that stadium into a good football stadium and by then the money train may have moved on from the PL , there are plenty of other clubs that would represent a safer investment than West Ham, that stadium is a noose around their necks.

I just had a legit 30-second giggling fit about this. I was laughing like a little scool girl about it. Between my visions of Moyes in a spammers coat and seeing the reactions on twitter, I was dying.

I have been quite disillusioned with Spurs and football in general the past few months. Not as much interest and just feeling generally a bit down with how rapidly we came crashing down to earth since May.
But then West Ham go and do something like this and it immediately raises my spirits and I realize it’s not all that bad.
I nearly had to check myself into hospital from laughing so much. To hire David Moyes once to sort your club out is one thing. To do it again, after releasing a statement saying “yeah he was shite, we want better cause we’re West ‘aaam mate’, when they sacked him the last time, is honestly one of the most hysterical things I’ve seen. What an absolute embarrassment of a club they are. Just a complete and utter tin pot institution.
