Match Coventry City v Tottenham Hotspur | Carabao Cup 3rd Round | Sept 18th | 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Feel genuinely sorry for Coventry, who were far and away the better side and deserved to win at a canter.

This win changes nothing for me. Ange is well out of his depth. Macho posturing and 2nd season winning aside, his football is turgid (incredible isn’t it?the change in just one year). Found out. Inverted FB’s congesting the MF and possession stats ‘mate’. That’s about it.
the double inverted fullback is absolutely killing us. that along with pushing the wide forwards all the way out to the touchline. striker might as well stick a jumper on, very cold and lonely.

Come on, it was worse than shit. Nothing looks right with this team. They look uncoached and damn right scared. I am not sure that I have seen a PL team so poor at the basics. We look toothless at our attacking set pieces and very vulnerable when defending them. We keep persisting with playing out from the back all the time with no variation so opposition teams know what to expect. We give the ball away constantly and have next to no movement up front. And when we do eventually decide to shoot, 99 times out of a hundred the opposing keeper isn’t troubled. The result tonight clearly masks massive issues running throughout the team
Half the posters are mad we won.

Yeah I’m thinking of looking for something else. What else is out there? Obviously not those ITK idiots.

Not really sure, it’s kind of sad as this is the only space I really have to communicate with fellow Spurs fans and it has turned into such a horrible, negative cesspit of a place.

Flav should probably just shut it down. Several posters on here seem genuinely gutted that we won that match. There used to be a minority of moaning shit posters on here but they seem to be verging on a majority now.

Not many times I’ve been wrong about Spurs related opinions mate.
Your lack of self awareness is amazing!!

Good to see you resort to out xenophobia and stereotype insults when criticising someone, grow up.

And enough with the stupid arrogance about "oh I don't care what Woolwich are doing", just because I have eyes and can see what they are doing is currently working doesn't mean I "admire" Arteta or any jump to conclusion bollocks like that.

Am I saying Ange has been great for us, no, it's been up and down to say the least, but say we do replace him with whoever, yeah we'll probably get the new manager bounce, but what happens after that? You will likely be one of the ones calling for them to be sacked and the cycle starts again, and we'll be back in the exact same position for the 4th time since Poch was sacked.

Cool, then it's agreed. We keep Ange until he dies of old age.

Great plan

We were lethargic before he came on.
He scored, of course.
Kulu helped.
I am almost in shock that we won.
It literally changes everything. Ange was clinging on to his job by his fingernails.
I completely agree he changed the game (along with Kulu) simply by taking the game on with purpose and energy.

That alone should see hinstarting ahead of a lot of people...

And tbf he's no worse than Porro at defending 😂

Spot on. I was trying to take a photo of the tv the illustrate it. The middle is far too congested and it makes getting the ball wide at any pace a near impossibility. Opposition makes two banks of four and it is impossible to get through. Adds to the predictable nature of the side and the fact we move the ball at a snail’s pace.
