Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You won’t get through to Tits McGhee over there so don’t bother trying.
Is the below intentional violent conduct from James too? He did grab the top of Son's shoulder, exactly where Cucurella's hair would have been had Son had hair that was 2 feet long.

Players grab and pull all the time during the course of a game. Players aren't carefully picking and choosing what they're grabbing and pulling on when things happen in split seconds.

The Romero incident happened in a split second and he wasn't even looking at Cucurella. It's not his fault that Cucurella's hair is so damn long that it falls below his collar area.

You’re entitled to your opinion. What you’re not entitled to do is post in that obnoxious, abrasive style and not expect a reaction.

Funnily enough you then accuse people of doing the same!

I stand by my opinion so deal with THAT.

Don't you ever quote me again because you won't like the outcome.

How DARE you call ME bratty when literally all you do is antagonise. Go look in a mirror if you can find one big enough to see your humongous oversized head in.
The guy posted a reasoned description of Romero's game and provided examples of where he had made errors and where his game was below his normal standard.
Your response "you must have watched a different game" and a disagree.
I responded and said that you shouldn't dismiss him so lightly and emphasised some of his points.
Both of us substantiated our POV but your response to me was to attack me for being argumentative - when, fool that I am I thought I was having a discussion with an adult.

Your response was immature and frankly, tiresome - because to both TheSpursEst and I, showed no attempt to offer an opinion but a squawking response about how I couldn't tell you anything. At no time to either of us did you offer up a football related response, explaining your side of the "discussion."

This is why I rebuked you for your reply. You don't attack the post - you attack the poster, which is what leads to the breakdown of threads into a slanging match. You finished your last post by warning me how you were going to punish me if I had the cheek to stand up to you again.

Seriously, who the fuck do you think you are? At times you're amenable and charming, and others you are a spiteful and nasty poster who makes himself look fucking immature. We've met, you seemed perfectly pleasant, why not be that guy on here, instead of your self proclaimed "hammer of the board" - "nobody gets to disagree with me!" Persona.
I don't want a fight with you, or a slanging match. I come on here to talk about Spurs and chat with people who want to talk rationally and pleasantly about the club, players and results.

Look at your last paragraph in the quoted post, is that what you say to people to their faces? It's the kind of thing that made me use the term bratty.
I'm happy to dial this shit back and talk about football, if you want to join in.

Ah. More aggressive over the top bravado filled posts by the unloved goat. Seriously mate, have a break. Can't believe the tirade you dropped on me the other day when I thought we had gotten on ok. Sick of your bullshit, sick of your unreasoned rants, sick of the threats of violence. It's a fucking football forum...grow up

Thanks for your responses

Sorry, but I've been watching football for a while, and I feel I have watched enough football to get a good impression of what type of players these guys we see, are.
It's my belief that Romero knew exactly what he was doing, and he did it as a "fuck you" to Cucurella, probably for the trampling he got from him earlier, but equally because it going to get under Cucurellas skin.
Job done all round and bonus of all of it, no fall out to Spurs. Looking forward the rematch

It was a red card. He grabs his hair and then yanks him to the ground. Every referee I’ve seen analyse it has said it’s a red card for violent conduct. Red cards for violent conduct equate to three match bans.

It’s really that simple in my eyes. I’m glad we got away with it & it’s hilarious it happened to fuck over Chelsea. But this forum would be up in arms about corruption & how their players are scum if the situation was reversed.

It wasn’t worse than the Nunez headbutt and yes, there are many worse forms of violent conduct. As for the Cucurella incident .. come the fuck on. We’re better than pretending it was deliberate. It was two players colliding.
The thing is his arm barely moves cucurella is known for his theatrics and he definitely exaggerated the pull - was definitely a foul though but cucurella grabbed Romero first so if penalising Romero they would have to have given us a penalty for the earlier infringement-

Contrary to prior comments, the rule-book apparently doesn't specifically categorise hair-pulling as "violent conduct". Unless it's categorically defined as such then it's a matter of ref's discretion.

..........In which case VAR may have seen it as a mere yellow card offense and thus nothing they can retrospectively act upon.

Agree not necessarily violent conduct but like shirt pulling id consider it a foul but they seem to be doing little to stop shirt pulling a la cucurella on Romero

Bin vote cast for your usual whiny off topic posting and bitching.

Wind your neck in

Now go cry somewhere else because honestly, nobody cares about you.

These threads generally get bogged down with a lot of whataboutry but he will get sent off soon enough if he repeats what he did last Sunday. There are bound to be a few refs watching him in future matches closely for anything .
