He's world class CB who played way too much football, travelled way too many miles and made some errors this season before getting injured.
Sure, we all know we might have to replace him in the summer but good luck to Lange finding a CB that we can afford who does what he does as well as he does it.

World class CBs don’t go walk about to the half way line, can head the ball clear rather than get exposed on corners or crosses into the box and have excellent positional awareness.
Romero is fantastic on the ball and playing out from the back. Call me old fashioned, but an excellent centre back should defend first and foremost. A world class defender he is not and to imply he is, is just plain comical.
