Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’d sell him purely on the basis he’s rarely fit , he missed 20 games last season and has missed 10 and 16 games in previous seasons , makes far too many mistakes and if we can get 50 plus million for him he has to go .
Yeah man but he was a beast vs Coleraine United, Baku FC, Extremadura City and AC Nobodies.

The rule is, all is forgotten and he's the bestest CB in the galaxy.

That's exactly the point...

People wanna know why Tottenham are seemingly hated by SO many rival fans, for no apparent reason at all...
(it's certainly not jealousy... or maybe after Wednesday it is now?)

But there IS and has been a deep lying reason, it's just everyone is too scared to acknowledge it!
And Daniel Levy is this bigotry manifest. In probably the most peculiarly stereotypical way imaginable sometimes it's like he's acting out just to make it MORE acute. Easy jet speedy boarding, making Zagreb pay for the shirts, Josh fucking Onomah.

If he wants out just get it done ASAP and find someone else. There's no point Levy trying to talk him round with CL football, he won't be happy and will likely become substandard.

Well Atletico need to offer what he's worth otherwise we won't sell and rightly so.

They won't though and this will rumble on all Summer until the end of the window most probably.
IMO if he wants out we just have to take what we can get, if we sell him at the end of the window there might not be time to get a replacement. If we don't sell him this summer or in January his value will be much less the following season when his contract is in its last year.

We paid about £23m for Aurier and he left for free, we also lost £14m on Matt Doherty after he left for free too. we terminated both contracts early.

So that's £37m out the door right there. So what if we do lose say £20m by not getting what we want for Romero?

We made money on other players over the years. We made £20m on Modric. and the same for Berbatov.
