I am 100% certain he'd start Phillips before he started Dier.

He played Emerson Royal at centre back against Luton, albeit in a back three. But he will not start Dier, I am confident of it.
I hope you’re right.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say 100% certain though. He has put Dier on the bench ahead of Phillips for a few PL games.

In any case, it’s ridiculous that we find ourselves in this position.

Royal at centre back against Luton????
We played a 4-4-1 when he came on!

We quite clearly went to a back 5.

Pretty much ended the game:

Vicario
Porro - Emerson - Royal - van de Ven - Davies
Skipp - Hojbjerg - Sarr
Veliz
And it was needed. They were getting so much space in the holes in our right hand side. Dropping Porro deeper and putting Emerson on centrally pretty much nullified the game. Putting Sarr on the left to drive on when Davies came on was just superb coaching too.

We clearly went to a 4-4-1 but let’s not argue 🤣🤣

It’s not even the fact he failed to get him said 2nd CB, it’s the fact the bullshit reason bandied about as to why we were unable to sign another CB was that we were unable to sell Sanchez (our most competent backup CB) whom Levy then proceeds to sell a couple of days AFTER our transfer window closes, leaving Ange completely high and dry.

You just couldn’t write it. What chairman/ownership that has even a smidge of the football side of the club at heart would operate like that?

CALM. THE. FUCK. DOWN.

1. Sanchez was always for sale.
2. The fact of him getting sold is universally good thing, this super-biased spin is pretty pathetic. If he wouldn't have been sold, you would have still came out whining and bitching about Levy being unable to move on useless deadwood.
3. He is just badly incompetent. And right now there are two better footballers in the side who can cover CB - Royal and Davies.

But ofc none of that suits into your agenda, does it. Always better to whine of upcoming doom and gloom and threaten yourself and other fans with unrealistic prospect of Dier being used in the next game. All just to suit your narrative.

You actually sound well not calm. Getting corporal Jones vibes.
