We need forwards who can turn situations like that into goals more regularly. We're playing at a ridiculous level except for the final pass/shot.
To be fair, it certainly looks that way.
He's always going to be playing 'on the edge' though - just that type of player, and he needs to be like that. So I've no doubt he'll get the odd red and some yellows...but he's definitely calmed himself down a bit - I put that to a mix of being given that leadership role, the big ange influence, and the calming influence of VDV.
He was brilliant last night - really took responsibility to make sure the result didn't slip when Son and Maddison had gone off

Maddison is the best player in the premier league this season. He’s not only scoring and assisting (basically every game) but controlling games and putting in a defensive shift. He’s ran the show.

I think the fact that in previous CB partnerships in the past at Spurs, for good reason of course they weren't given enough respect by the opposition attack and so he probs felt he needed to literally stamp his authority on them lol

I always rated him elite but he is proving me wrong this season. He had that unfortunate blunder against the Goons but he is looking world class to me now. Lets see if he can be consistent and lead the backline throughout the season. What a player he is.

It was crying out to be hit first time on his right. His desperation to get it back inside and onto his left was the problem. He's very very reliant on his left peg.
On form, there isn't one.
City have great CBs, Saliba has pace to recover for Gabriel's mistakes but Cuti is fucking dominating it this season.
