But Modric and Kane downed tools after they couldn't get their moves and Bale didn't want to play for the club again after we were delaying the Real deal, pretty sure he didn't turn up for pre season or something.

Not that excuses Romero, it obviously doesn't but it seems like it's indicative of players who want out of this club.

Whilst I agree on these points you've made 100% there's no excuse for the mistakes he's made this season and to be captain and not face up to the fans after that yesterday and just fuck off down the tunnel is not a good look. We are just as fucked off if not more so than he is about how this season has panned out and where the direction of the club is going atleast give it your all even if what's around you isn't up to the required standard.

You can say the same about every other player right now, who is still playing to their level right now?

It's fair to say that Romero has downed tools but everyone is acting as if he's the only one in the team, also I would love to know how those aforementioned players would have reacted if their teams at the time were as lowly as this one - it's all well and goo getting your head down for a team competing for 4th, I doubt they'd be as forgiving playing for a team as shit as this one.

I think there's a good chance he goes to a big club and does not perform to this imaginary higher plane he can access at will. Have all his fan Bois actually watched him for Argentina? He isn't Ledley King for them. He is still even at that level prone to switching off, he did it last game for Brazil and Cunha punished him. But Brazil are shit and he wasn't beasted for the remaining hour like he was by Delap and Wellbeck.

That South American champo he's won twice has a couple of very uneven teams so: decent quality in Colombia, Uruguay, and Brazil but not through out the eleven, next to none in some of the others. It's why Otamendi can still be a player.

Even In the world cup you probably face four top teams to actually win it and Argentina lost games as well. Even in the final against France he's far from prime VVD. Tournament football flatters him. The EPL exposes him and even in La liga I think his reputation will not suddenly become what some imagine. He is not a great centerback but a good one his day. But never great.

As for we will miss him so bad..bollocks. If you are reliant on creative passing from your centerback you are playing football wrong. Said this over a year ago, and now, even the real dummies have rumbled Ange Postecoglou is playing football wrong. Get a coach, a proper defensive line, some creativity at ten and out wide an orthodo CDM who can tackle, an elite Centerforward a GK who can catch. We will win more games and lose way less. Than with Cooties...

Modric's head was gone that Summer after he spoke to Chelsea, everyone should remember that game when we got battered 5-1 at home to City when the guy barely got close to a sprint, the window closed and he got his head down.

And the Bale thing, he didn't want to train as we were playing silly buggers with Real...I remember our pre season game under AVB where we got smashed by Monaco and he wasn't in the squad because he didn't want to play for us anymore.

Any Spurs fan should remember these incidents but your memory is terrible but then again I don't want to be rude but it's to with your age maybe?

The similarities is that all 3 wanted to leave but that's where the similarities end. Kane already stated he did not refuse to train and the club agreed the extended leave (the club didn't deny this either).

What happened the season where neither Kane and modric wanted to be there?? both knuckled don't and proceeded to have excellent seasons.

Now let's look at what the twat Romero has done since he wanted to leave:



1) Make 8 errors leading to goals and had a season of what only can be described as Titus Bramble esque.

2) Came out with a statement stating its the club's fault we are shit.

3) Came out with a statement thanking the Argentinian medical team.

4) Got 'injured' and took forever to 'recover' then magically being fine for two 90 minute international games days apart. All this whilst our manager is telling us we need to "take it easy and be patient" with his recovery.

5) Didn't show up to numerous games whilst 'injured' despite everyone else being there.

6) Walked off as 'captain' without bothering to thank the fans.
