Should find a better loan for him this season.

It’s funny when Troy was loaned to PNE people were saying he needs to be at a Championship chasing side. That would be better.

Ends up having a decent season for a club facing relegation abroad. Still a club who were struggling to win games though.

Dane in the meantime gets a loan to a championship side who were ultimately promoted but was deemed not good enough by said club.

So what does “better” look like for Dane?

For a striker, obviously, the best fit is a team that plays more offensive football and creates opportunities for the striker. I think that with PNE Parrott was totaly unplaced, as they were one of the worst teams in terms of chances created and goals scored. So he had little to no service there. Excelsior, in other way, despite being relegated, was a good fit for a striker as they had good attacking options and created a good amount of chances in most of games.

As for Dane spell at Ipswich I won't comment, as I didn't follow him there, but he barely played, so doesn't seem to matter the way the team played.

i would say a bundesliga club like a koln or something

Reckon a loan to Birmingham makes sense. I appreciate at the level he’s supposed to be at, League One might be below where we’re aiming. But, with Daviesbeing their manager, Dane spending the last half a season training with the 1st team (thus working closely with him), and Birmingham going down being a “big club” for that league, I would expect if he went there he should be able to get some serious numbers under his belt. Would do wonders for his confidence and would no doubt develop him more than sub appearances at upper championship or lower prem - or the 150 mins we’d likely be able to offer him for the season if he stayed.

Did against QPR exactly what he did for E u20's - come into a side after a period of not playing much and bag a goal.

Needs more playing time after not playing that much but his ability to sniff out a goal hasn't changed - and its not something strikers can be taught, so Dane having it is a real plus.
