Let the kid play. At this point playing 2 loan players that have no future at this club is a piss take and a real slap in the face. Give the fucking kid a chance will not do any worse than Tel or Werner.
 
Look rightly pissed off when Werner was coming on.

He should have come on for Tel, we lost attacking shape completely putting Kulu there, then Son.

Then why should any kid ever sign for our academy what's the point? How many players from the academy have been given ten starts in the last five years - Skipp is all I can think of? Levy should shut it down save the money. Disgraceful giving Werner minutes over over Dane and Moore.
 
Disappointing that Dane didn't get at least 30 minutes in my opinion. Ange said after the game that Tel needs a rest but still didn't bring on a centre forward who was available on the bench. In that period where we were really on top and getting the ball into the box he would have been a better option.

bit of a shame, especially as there's a good chance he'll drop out the squad altogether once Dom is back

Probably waiting for him to get injured so he can name him as another injured player.
 
Hope to see him play some minutes next week. My kind side makes me feel like he deserves more opportunity. My logical side screams “how the hell do you pick Werner over him?”

Sadly Levy will treat him and his contract like an asset and not move him on until it’s too late for him to develop properly.

Levy could at least get a coach actually willing to play youth, but it seems like for whatever reason he is unable to do that. There are at least 10 games a season we play absolutely shit sides where we absolutely could sneak a few kids in. Also when you go up big in games, then you also can put on the kids because it’s safe to do so.

I know you know all this though Nico. Frustrating to watch our club-trained youth be so neglected. Lankshear or Scarlett- Ange doesn’t even have the guts to give them a start vs Tamsworth.
 
Scarlett has 4 in 22 for Oxford United this season. It’s like we’re leaving Kane on the bench reading these comments. Hes not there yet
