Player Dejan Kulusevski

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Apparently 8 million loan fee and then a 29 million extra obligation to buy. 37 million for this guy?!! Fucking paratici really fucking us over with these fucking deals.

Thankfully if some conditions arent met we dont have to buy him. Just the 8 million hit + wages.

thought he weighted some nice through balls earlier. still lacks sharpness though. at least when he is central hes looking to do some damage going forward with the ball, would rather have him on the ball in the cam area than lucas or son all day long.

Really not sure about Kulusevski as a wide forward. Seems like he’s more like a Dele type of player, best behind the front 2 or playing off the main striker. We’ll see, I suppose.

It's early and he needs to be given time and gain PL levels of fitness.

However, when he came on against Southampton and Royal (I think) played a ball down the right and he was in a straight foot race with the Soton defender, he looked a plodder. To kill defenders you need pace. I was shocked at how little he appears to have.

Let's hope the fitness coaches do their stuff, but in my view you have explosive acceleration and pace, or you don't. As a youngster he should have it.

I hope he's not a deadline-day signing like Sissoko when anyone will do.

Give him a dozen games to have a fuller assessment. Showed little yesterday (as did everyone else).

No you don't, not in real life. It might help but it isn't the be all and end all.

remember that Italian journo that said it was a myth that he was slow looool.

Kulusnailki shows we really didn't have a plan this window (as usual). We aimed for a fast direct player in Adama...didn't get him and moved on for a similar pacey player in Diaz...didn't get him so got literally the slowest player we could find.

Not at all.... As reported before the window opened we had a list of 4 positions.

RWB - Traore.
AM - Kulu <<<< Him playing centrally as he did yesterday makes far more sense.
CM - B'cur.
ST - [Blank]

Diaz we shot for cos he'd been scouted and happened to be available.

The part about us losing out on AT so then shot for Diaz is silly...... Considered for 2 different positions and Diaz actually got sold first!

I just don’t see him being a player to really push us on, it’s early days still but he’s exactly as I expected so far. Decent squad player because he improves the low level of intelligence we normally have on the pitch, but a 40 million player he is not.

Agree that it's not the be all and end all, but defenders (especially FB/WBs) hate pace. Of course you need to have basic skills and the football brain that a PL level footballer requires, but if you have pace...

At 21 -22 Kulusevski should be at peak pace/acceleration. Almost no-one gets quicker as they get older.

I was shocked at what I saw against Soton. Surely our scouts can see what us hacks can?
