He's an assist machine. Feels like we still need someone else to actually score goals.

Doherty has done wonderfully (bergwijn too off the bench) but how long can we count on that? Eriksen in place of PEH might be a good option... but we might lose out defensively.

Eriksen would replace Emerson and PEH+ new left footed defender can handle defensive duties on the left..

But this won't be a starting XI for every game of course and only an idiot would play eriksen is every game, he is more of a tactical sub for 30-45 mins

Maybe we can save De Lijt from Juventus too.

What a player this fella is. He looks like he's been playing with Kane and Son for years, not months.

The quality of the finish and his composure for the Son assist was immense.

Exactly the third ingredient to compliment the main two that we've been looking for for years.

I just love that I always expect him to make the right decision and make something happen when he gets it in the final third.

I looked at this guy in the first couple of appearances and thought he was an absolute donkey. Juve were so wrong about this guy. He's to the point. No unessasary step overs no rush of blood to the head. Composed makes the right simple decisions at the right times that influence games.

He's got something that is very hard to coach, good game sense. He plays with his head up and plays football with a purpose, unlike players like Moura.

So even though his pace and agility aren't world class, like Kane, he can still put defenders on their arse before finding a perfect ball for an assist.

He can still do sprint and agility drills, that's much easier than teaching someone to make good decisions in a split second.

He's not a look at me player like neymar. He's effective and makes decisions based on what's best for the team. Like you say gets his head up doesn't get flustered and makes good decisions. Links up can play with his back to goal runs behind too. He's been sensational.
