Seriously, I love the kid, but if he ain't gonna be 100% fit for next season (PL or not), we gotta terminate his contract.
It's a joke now.
You can't terminate a players contract because they are injured

I doubt he'll be fit enough to get a move this summer. It's also a much easier rehab for him. I think he'll be there next season regardless.
PlAy ThE yOuThSome mentions on here of Scarlett being an adequate backup. Ten appearances for Hibs since going there. Not one full match. Think he’s got an assist. He’s not ready if he ever will be.
Yes you can, Torino did it with SchuursYou can't terminate a players contract because they are injured
Or he might be thankful to play again
At some point Deki has got to honour his side of the contract ie play.You can't terminate a players contract because they are injured
Again, that’s not how the contract works. We also pay to insure his contract against injury too.At some point Deki has got to honour his side of the contract ie play.
I know.Again, that’s not how the contract works. We also pay to insure his contract against injury too.
So let me see.You can agree a fee with a player to buy out a contract but you can’t unilaterally cancel it because he’s injured. The whole point of the contract is to protect players from stuff like that - they’re entitled to pay for the duration of that contract.
Even with a full pay out, unless the player agrees to it, the club can't, without consent, terminate for reasons that don't include a breach of contract. There's all sorts of rules by FIFA to protect them as you say.You can agree a fee with a player to buy out a contract but you can’t unilaterally cancel it because he’s injured. The whole point of the contract is to protect players from stuff like that - they’re entitled to pay for the duration of that contract.
It would be very silly to just terminate while he still has value. Not happening in a month of Sundays. The club could sell him for £10m in January and that would cover, and some, what the club would lose in a payout.So let me see.
The player has said, a few weeks ago, his knee was great and never felt better.
He slavvered over playing for Sweden but never mentioned us.
Sounds a bit like a benefits cheat... So I'd imagine he has the right to be questioned if he is fulfilling his contract.
Torino, you are right, mutually agreed a termination of contract with Schuurs, but if a player is not giving a shit about the club who pay his wages, I would like us to go down the same path.
He'll be brilliant at the WC?At some point Deki has got to honour his side of the contract ie play.
WC = wheel chair right?
