Disagree. He may push himself into advanced positions but he is just as available through the centre as Eriksen, are we saying Eriksen is a second striker now? The three supporting the striker are completely interchangeable and I'd not call a single one of them second strikers tbh.
 
Suarez/Sturridge was more recent then both weren't they? Considering they are the only two players to be 1 and 2 in the top scorer charts, carry a team to 2nd place and have a telepathic understanding. It's probably the best partnership since them.

They were indeed devastating but they only lasted 1 full season. Torres/Gerrard is a good shout though.
