I think Dele found the benefit of a little surrogate family in Dier & Poch for a while; but his demons caught up with him eventually...... The kind of baggage Dele was carrying around with him is far beyond the remit of a football manager.

If we don't get him now we are going to rue this decision when he gets back to his best. He's obviously re-dedicated himself and it won't be that long until he re-discovers what made him great in the first place. We could use his talent and leadership right now plus he's only 28 so got quite a few years in front of him. Seems like he's exactly what Ange would like...can't understand why we'd let him go to some 2nd rate club in Italy...to play for a gooner!!!!
